A Hendersonville teenager's death has been ruled as an accidental drowning according to the autopsy report released Monday.

Roman Reed, 19, drowned in a pond at Middleton Place off N.C. 191 on Oct. 19.

Reed was staying with a friend and was last seen alive that day. He was found submerged in a pond, clothed with his head under water and an arm over a pipe.

An employee of Middleton Place found the body caught under a water pipe that feeds a fountain in the middle of the development's lower pond. Rescue workers were able to retrieve his body at about 11 a.m. Oct. 19, about an hour and a half after the incident was reported to police.

I've been following the Kyle Fleischmann case for some time now. Although there are similarities, Kyle leaving a bar alone, white, young, good-looking, etc. I think he met with foul play, possibly gang-related The area he was last seen walking towards is a haven for drug dealers and MS 13 gang activity. But there are still a lot of questions that don't make sense, such as why did he leave his coat at the bar when it was 30 degrees outside? why did he walk to such a bad area that was several miles away from the bar?. Why did he make several calls to many different numbers from his phone and not leave any voicemails? His body has never been found, nor has he ever been heard from again. Robbery gone bad? Sadly we may never know.
