Post Questions for Sheriff Bowerman in the case of missing DeOrr Kunz Jr

Was Deorr Sr.'s truck gas or diesel? If gas, did they purchase diesel or gas on the way to the campsite?

Did JM or Deorr Sr. call or text anyone in the hour or two prior to calling 911?

Were there two 911 calls or three? If three, who made the other call?

Aside from the four POIs, were there any other homes or vehicles searched?

Will you release the audio of the other two 911 calls?

Is it true that the parents have a life insurance policy on DeOrr?

Did the parents give you the receipt from the store or was it obtained from the store itself?

Was DeOrr's car seat in Vernal's truck when LE arrived at the campground?

Does Mr. Walton agree that he was left in charge of watching DeOrr at the campground? Did he really see DeOrr toddle off towards the creek?

Was DeOrr last seen by IR the same day he went missing?

Has cellphone analysis been carried out alongside locations named "Snake River"?

Will charges be considered without a body?

Did IR last see DeOrr before or after the parents went to the store?

Are there latrines in the campground? Were they checked?
Showers?

1.) Is there any witness, other than the 2 suspects and the 2 POI, who saw DeOrr at the campsite at any time?

2.) Did anyone visit with the family at the campsite before DeOrr went missing?

3.) Did Issac or GGP actually see DeOrr after the trip to the Leadore store?

4.) Is there any GPS or eye witness evidence that places one or both of the parents in a location different from what they have stated?

5.) Did any of the campers have a 4 wheeler with them at the campsite before the 911 calls were made?

6.) You have stated that new lead has come from a witness who gathered information but that is was previously withheld. Is this information something the witness saw or heard?

7.) You have asked for people who may have witnessed interactions between the parents and DeOrr to come forward? Is there any indication that DeOrr was neglected or abused prior to this camping trip?

8.) You have indicated that the parents have been less that truthful about the circumstances surrounding DeOrr's disappearance. Do their stories match or are they inconsistent with one another?

9.) Were they both parents' polygraph tests inconclusive on the same questions?

10.) Was more than one polygraph examination administered to the parents and were they all inconclusive on the same questions?

11.) It has been stated that GGP and IR were given polygraphs which were also inconclusive. Were they inconclusive on relevant questions? If so, why are they not being named as suspects?

12.) Did Vilt share his letter and findings with you immediately or was this just recent?

13.) Did you find that the PIs have been helpful in uncovering new information or witnesses or just corroborating what was already known by LE?

Was there a suitcase/duffle bag/backpack with clothing for Deorr for the trip?

Were you able to get cell tower pings to track their movements for Thursday and Friday or was the location too remote? Were text message records retrieved for all 4 phones?

If you could hear the whole truth from just one of the parents who do you think it would be?

Will you be authorizing another search in the area utilizing outside resources?

Will cadaver dogs be brought in?

Will the search area be broadened?

Sorry if this has already been asked, I haven't had time to go back and check.

Is there any significance or implication involving the ax and the coveralls that were taken as evidence? If so, what did you find?

I also don't know if this has been asked already or not, but What about the convenience store lady who said she saw Deorr there all filthy and bawling with a man and a black truck? Is this true? Was it confirmed? Is there any chance that it was Deorr Sr and Deorr Jr?

Hindsight being 20/20, is there anything you wish you had done differently in the investigation, knowing what you know now?

Just my opinion, these are all great questions that cannot be answered at this time.

The parents are suspects only so the Sheriff is not going to tip his hat as to what is known.

i agree... you gotta word your questions so he's not giving you direct information.

here are some of mine?

1. do you think that deorr will eventually be found if the perpetrators do not give up his location? how long would you wait to press charges if you cannot find a body (as evidence is for c.o.d. is lost over time eg. caylee anthony)?

2. since you started interviewing the parents, were the discrepencies and timeline changes evident from the first six weeks, or did this evolve over the last six or seven months?

3.now that LE and the PI 'Klein' have essentially found very similar conclusions to the outcome of this case, will you now be working together in any capacity? you had stated you wanted Klein to come in with 'a fresh mind' on the case so did not volunteer any information that you had already obtained. how close was the information they garnered to the information gathered by LE? and were you at all able to fill in some blanks if you got together and discussed your findings?

4. what help has SM been, if at all, regarding official stories you were given by the POI's and information you may have monitored or received anonymously pointing out discrepencies written by the POI's, friends or relatives or other sources who may have typed information that they heard, or words from the family themselves on the many SM groups that have popped up?

Can you clear up what exactly this new '4 hours' refers to? 4 hours from what until what?

What is the next step in this case? Will there be more questioning of the suspects or will you just have to wait for them to volunteer information? And will you need new information to be discovered before you can question them again?

Have cadaver dogs been used along the road (and/or any side 'roads') between the camping spot and the store?

What criteria did you use to completely rule out predation by a mountain lion?
