    Queensland Missing Persons

    What is a missing person?
Any person, whether an adult or a child, reported to police whose whereabouts is unknown and where there are reasonable and justified fears for the safety or concerns for the welfare of that person.
When can I report a person missing?
There is no time limit when a person can be reported missing. If you have concerns for the safety or welfare of a person then contact your local police Station.
What do I do if I see a missing person?
Let your local police know. Information can also be passed to the Missing Persons Unit on telephone 61 7 3364 6213
    (international) or 1800 017 744
(within Australia), or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000
(free call within Australia). Any information received will be treated in confidence.
