It seems to me, though, that you are in fact arguing their claims, specifically arguing against them: some continued relationships with him, some were probably paid a stipend (in other words, willingly prostituted themselves), waited too long to report, were open-minded about the possibility of sexual activities.

"I remember him saying, 'Are you okay, Bernard?' And then, I must have passed out again in the tub naked, I'm totally naked, I don't know how I got into the tub. So I imagine he must have either carried me or lifted me or dragged me, I don't know."

"Did you think about going to the police?" Smith asked.

"Yes, I told Bill Cosby I would call the police. I said I would call the police, and he threatened me that if I called the police that he -- the minute that I come back from the police -- would go the police and file a police report against me for false accusation and defamation. 'And who are they going to believe, Bernard? You or me?'"

    http://www.cbsnews.com/news/bill-cosbys-accusers-tell-their-stories/2/
"There are many who just don't want to believe it, they can't believe it, they don't want to see that their hero does something like this. But 50 women have accused him of rape, and that's sort of hard to get over and to overlook," said Hendricks. "And if only one of them is telling the truth, then that means that he's a rapist."

Some of those women are working together now to change statute of limitations laws, if not for them, then for future victims of assault.

And that could be Bill Cosby's real legacy.

Smith asked, "Could it be that Bill Cosby goes to his grave with all of this still going on?"

Professor Levenson replied, "I think one of the strategies here is to say to Bill Cosby, 'You will never have peace. For the rest of your life we will be pursuing you. We may not win at every turn, but we will be there.'"

If prosecutors decide to arrest Bill Cosby for allegedly sexually assaulting Andrea Constand in January 2004, she will fully cooperate, her attorney, Dolores M. Troiani, tells PEOPLE exclusively.
    http://www.people.com/article/bill-cosby-alleged-victim-prepared-to-cooperate-pending-case-reopening

Plus trouble between Constand/Troiani and Bruce Castor, former DA. He's tweeted that Constand has been inconsistent.

Castor is running for his old job so I'm wondering if it's a factor. You know, if the new DA decides to press charges that he declined to press, and he needs to justify himself.

You know, at this point it may be better if Cosby doesn't go to court. I think there's little chance, with the type of attorneys he can buy, that Cosby will be convicted of an old crime with no physical evidence to back up claims. As of now, Cosby is guilty to all but a slim minority of the public. However, being found not guilty in a court of law could change all that for a lot of people. I could just see Whoopi Goldberg doing her 'I told you so' happy dance, and Monique 'Power Spinner' Pressley yelling, justice has been served!

    What do you guys think?

Cosby seeking defense lawyer for Pennsylvania criminal probe

    By MARYCLAIRE DALE, AP

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Comedian Bill Cosby is seeking to hire a criminal defense lawyer as suburban prosecutors revisit a 2005 sexual-assault complaint against him.

Lawyer Edwin Jacobs said late Tuesday that Cosby's agents had contacted him in the past few days about a pending investigation in Montgomery County. Jacobs, who had represented Cosby in a review of another accuser's complaint in New Jersey, said he referred Cosby's agents to another high-profile Philadelphia-area lawyer.

That other lawyer did not return message seeking comment late Tuesday. The Philadelphia Inquirer first reported Tuesday on Jacobs' involvement in the case...

Can someone help me out? Is the entire 1000 page Cosby deposition available for the public to read? I thought the NYT only released excerpts from it.

Marquette University strips Bill Cosby of honorary degree

By Karen Herzog of the Journal Sentinel Sept. 24, 2015 3:08 p.m.

Marquette University announced Thursday it is rescinding the honorary degree it awarded in 2013 to comedian and father figure Bill Cosby — the same day Fordham University stripped its honorary degree from the actor accused of being a serial rapist who drugged his victims.

It's the first time the Jesuit univeristy has rescinded an honorary degree, according to university officials.

I believe you are correct; NYT has only released excerpts. AFAIK, the whole deposition is not available to the public.

Cosby Seeks to Keep Private a Deposition; Fordham Withdraws His Honorary Degree

By Graham Bowley and Sydney Ember September 24, 2015 2:48 pm

Bill Cosby is seeking to keep private his scheduled questioning under oath in a case involving accusations that he sexually assaulted a young woman when she was 15.

...Mr. Cosby’s lawyers say they have filed a motion for a protective order seeking to keep his questioning private. Such an order would keep the deposition private between the parties.

On Tuesday, Ms. Huth’s legal team filed an opposition to the Cosby team’s motion in Los Angeles County Superior Court to keep the deposition public, according to her lawyer, Gloria Allred.

...A hearing on whether to allow the protective order is scheduled for Oct. 5, Ms. Allred said.

True, O.J., Michael Jackson, Robert Blake, and Casey Anthony all did that and got away with their crimes, but the majority of the world knows they are GUILTY!!!

    The Wrap By Tim Kenneally

An attorney for scandal-plagued comedian Bill Cosby is firing back at the president of Fordham University, a day after the school’s Board of Trustees voted unanimously to rescind the honorary doctorate that the school awarded Cosby, calling the school’s statements about the comedian “beyond the pale and worthy of contempt.”

This marks the first time that the University has revoked an honorary degree from anyone, wrote Vice President for Communications Cass Cliatt in an email to The Herald.

Hmm, isn't it more like 50 accusers? Or more?
