Juror Questions from today...
Just when it seems there is an end in sight......sigh
I am not disturbed at all by the juror questions. Nor by DM's responses.
We are here for the pursuit of truth and justice, are we not? I believe DeMarte to be highly qualified in her field and very professional in her testimony. There may be a fact or two that I did not like hearing as it made JA sound more human but, really, I can live with that because it is truly refreshing to see a witness who does not mince words, does not follow a script, and does not say only what she thinks people want to hear. DeMarte says what she believes to be true, period. If her testimony made a juror or two think--really think--about their task at hand, so be it.
I would rather have the murderer sentenced to Life through proper means than sentenced to Death because a prosecution witness was dishonest or biased in their testimony. After all, wasn't such bias our biggest gripe about the defense witnesses?
Arias will never get out of prison alive. At the end of it all, that will be the only thing that matters.

#JodiArias questioning of jury one by one in chambers seems more ominous than jury scheduling, usually related to improperly info/behavior.
Didn't this happen during the first trial too?
Yes, it was usually to ask if the jury heard/saw something they weren't supposed to see and once related to juror 5's joke about chairs.
BREAK FOR WHAT?!! This is insane~

They wanted to know if any juror has heard a/b Det. Flores and his loss. I was wondering when the jury wd b questioned a/b it. #JodiArias
Not sure if this is true or not.
Only 1 question relating to sexual abuse (PTSD-related) and it sounded sceptical. No questions about physical abuse by Travis. Or anyone else.
Only a couple questions about the factual narrative...Purple Plum, passwords, telling of intimacy.
One odd question about triggers and stimuli.
And the remainder about qualifications, tests, etc.
Sound pretty harmless.
I did read that tweet, but I believe that is her opinion of why they were called in and questioned.
Why would the jurors be asked that? I would think in the asking JSS would be telling, and can't see why she would bring it to their attention.
And so what anyway if they've heard.
Does anyone know anything about the phone call Wilmott got today?
No court Tuesday, again...
The odd questions about triggers and stimuli would be related to PTSD. My son and nephew have PTSD from the Iraq War and their trigger is casinos because of the large crowds and the noise from the slot machines.
You're right, and her confidence in her assumption is how misinformation gets spread. I wish people would think before they tweet.
If it's of a personal nature/personal emergency, it's none of our business. Same rules as applies to Flores's sons death.
JSS appeared to have a personal emergency too right before the holidays. It happens.
No, but it did sound like whatever it was it was a shock to her. Someone mentioned she said OMG and JA patted her on the back.
Thanks. That makes sense. One more thing, though. The question seems to reference a specific event. Any ideas?
My thinking is they want to know if they can trust Dr. DM's opinions/conclusions as they may have reason to suspect Fonseca's and Geffner's.
Just a thought; CMJA said she was attacked by someone using a knife, so if she in fact has (wink, wink) PTSD from that attack she would not have used a knife to attack TA.
