I had read a little while ago an interview with a woman who said a friend had recently set he up on a blind date, but she had a weird feeling and backed out. I think slowly we will hear more from his acquaintances. I doubt friends would want to come forward after the beatings a few took from others on his fb page before they removed themselves.

What happened to his FB friends?

It will state verified purchase on the review.

It's possible that the "SHE" is just a reference to the country song "She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy" by Kenny Chesney. Maybe nobody in particular.

I think I'm getting a more sinister meaning than most of you and it's actually his play on the words from the song.

Didn't it actually say:
"Another day at camp oh #h#tshiisgonnaurtintemorning..."

I read that mumbo-jumbo saying: "another day at camp OH EXPLETIVE SHE IS GOING TO HURT IN THE MORNING." (The 'e' in "she" was possibly mistyped as an 'i' and an 'h' was omitted from both "hurt" and "the" -- either in error or on purpose.)

I think bush hogged is probably code for something much more sinister, as well as those noises he wishes would just stop. The concrete and green paint references likely had nothing to do with laziness and a lot to do with possibly hiding things that tend to attract certain animals (& therefore, could bring unwanted attention to the land). The concrete might be one way to accomplish that, and it would blend in with the natural scenery if he painted it green (thus, it would be less likely to detect by air).

I am in the process of gathering links to pertinent info to be placed in a Media Links - NO DISCUSSION resource thread. For cases such as this it is a helpful tool to refer to as time passes and we all forget what facts were sourced from where.

ETA has anyone begun a timeline for this case including links to where the date/time is sourced from? If so please bump it or alert it for my attention so that it can be added to the Media thread and the opening post of future discussion threads. TIA

IRCC the beginning of the "ex had laptop" discussion was from a poster mentioning that from social media source.

I've only seen MSM say it was missing in general.

Friends and family say the pair left their clothes, prescription medicine and Ms B****’s pet dog without food or water at their Anderson, South Carolina apartment.

Ms B****’s contact lenses and glasses had been left behind, along with her car, which remained in the complex carpark.

The only things missing were Mr Carver’s laptop and his car, a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix. Police have put an alert out for the vehicle but it has yet to be recovered.

Ages 15-30 are the absolute most dangerous years for violent criminals. Thank Go he was locked away during that time. That explains why his criminal record isn't longer.

However, it is stunning that he got out and assimilated so quickly. And was able to be under the radar and do complex and normal things like get real estate and pilot's licenses. He clearly became more sophisticated in prison. He learned how to adapt and hide his true feelings. Neither prison nor therapy work to fix these psychopaths. They just learn from it. How to better manipulate and mimic normal people. He clearly learned well.

It is going to be bad I think but would've been worse had he not been locked up for 15 years during his youth. This is a stunning case.

Interesting. I actually had the opposite standpoint after reading it. While it's clear that neither his biological father nor his mother or adoptive/stepfather wanted to take responsibility for him after he was charged with the kidnapping and sexual assault (sexual assault charge was ultimately dropped as part of his plea deal), I got the impression that was because they were simply feeling defeated. They both detailed the many ways they had attempted to correct his malignant behavior but none of them helped. He apparently swung back and forth with great intensity about who he preferred to live with--his biological father or his mother--and this preference appears to have been largely based upon the amount of control he could exert over one or the other. The report also stated that his mother was afraid of him what he might do if he didn't get his way because he had threatened to kill her in the past if he didn't get what he wanted. This mother was AFRAID OF HER OWN CHILD. Apparently, she had every reason to be.

I believe TK's mother tried to do anything and everything she could to help him but nothing worked. She took him to see therapists, she was seeing a counselor herself, tried different parenting styles, rallied for his stepfather to officially adopt him to unify their family, convinced his biological father to rebuild a new relationship with him because she believing his problems stemmed from the lack of one. After TK expressed a desire to go live with his father, she agreed and then the sexual assault happened. I think she felt defeated and really, really scared at that point... (especially when all of the letters he'd sent from jail requested she get his weapons back from his dad's house) and she just didn't know what else to do.

My mother is a narcissist, was neglectful/abusive but she sure did put my in therapy as soon as I turned 8. I was in therapy for more of my childhood than I wasn't. Pretty certain it was only because other people noticed I was becoming more withdrawn & angry and it reflected poorly on her parenting. To her I'm not really a person, but a pretty little bauble she could display to make herself look better. Acted like a perfect wife & mother, only as long as someone was looking.

Not saying TK's mother is anything like mine, but it's my experience that putting your child in therapy doesn't necessarily mean there was any kind of real love or concern. I sincerely wished that my story was unique, but sadly it isn't.

I'm trying to fix my mess of a response but I can't. Lawd, help me.

People living near Kohlhepp property shaken up, recall recent activities

http://wspa.com/2016/11/05/people-living-near-kohlhepp-property-shaken-up-recall-recent-activities/

Neighbor says deputies came through the area looking for KB about 2 weeks ago (they had the property under surveillance for quite a while before getting the SW approved). It was shortly after the LE search that TK put up the fence along the back of the property, as well as moving brush and rock.

Didn't he tell his neighbor to remind him to tell him the story of hunters he ran off his property two weeks ago? Maybe they werent hunters?

This is the page that contains the post I alluded to. If I am wrong, my apologies for the poster. You had interesting timing! But it gave me chills when I first discovered it.

Edit: somehow the link was redirected but now that I've caught up with the thread I see we are all on the same page.

I saw the post you guys are talking about. But cannot for the life of me figure out the relevance (probably because I am so new to this case.) Can you explain?

I think his hash tag was meant to say "this is going to hurt in the morning"....meaning sore muscles from working.

I do think some of his posts likely have double meanings and are sinister. But not all of them.

Some questions/observations: How the hell did the media get this guy's psych Evals? That's totally private and virtually never released. Especially for a juvenile. But not even for an adult. Where did that come from? I wish that was available for every sex offender though. Evals publicly available.

The mother! Oh my gosh! "Yeah. He violently raped a 14 year old girl at gunpoint but he's a good boy. I mean HE WALKED HER HOME. HE EVEN WALKED HER HOME." What kind of sick delusion is that? He does the worst that can be done to her almost but he's a good kid because he protected her safety by walkin her home after violently raping and assaulting her? Hey crazy lady, your son is the worst tht could happen to her. Not the walk home from her violent kidnapping, rape and assault. What lawyer allowed that part of the letter in?

How does this guy not have a super extensive criminal record? His reports show one of the most out of control psychopaths ever. How did he magically learn to control himself enough to not get caught again after his release? We need to figure out, as a society, a better way to deal with such dangerous individuals. Lock them up and/or strict monitoring for life. I don't know how we can accomplish that in a way that doesn't violate the constitution, but man.

Real estate license? Pilot license? Gun ownership? What good is a sex offender registry if this is all possible?
AMEN, AND AMEN! I am not even religious and I have no other words to use. That said...preach!

One time, I found a thread about a teen girl who had run off w an older man. She was maybe 13-14 and he was 20's. The thread was a few years old and had got bumped. The guy himself bumped it. He must have googled himself or something. I reported it and the thread was gone.

In all the of the 3 yrs I have been a member I never thought of any of "them" being members duh...but of course "they" can and no doubt are. Has anyone admitted or found out to be?

There's no mention of it as far as I've read. Do you have any sources that suggest this was the case? People can become this dysfunctional and violent without childhood trauma sometimes.Whilst nurture often appears to play a large role in the development of predator like this it certainly can happen without abuse.

I think this guy just is what he is. He has never seemed to cope well w/authority figures, especially males, and would bully/threaten his mother. Sometimes people are just born broken, or sometimes something goes wrong during a difficult birth, and that's just how they are.

I have the screenshot and typed it out exactly as it was written.

I agree with a lot of this but his Mother also wrote a letter to the judge requesting (IIRC) either early release or a more lenient sentence because "he did walk her home after he assaulted her" That just did not set right with me. I feel like she also enabled him.

Oh, I agree with the enabling part. Basically, I was trying to say that I don't think his behavior problems (which is the understatement of the year) began because his mother <b>neglected</b> him.

I'm sure his mother was completely torn between her fear of him and the love that every mother feels for a child. She definitely appeared to be struggling with feelings of ambivalence (...torn between an undeniable fear of her own child while also in denial about his true nature).

Yes ^ ! Like providing a 'safe escort' home made RAPE okay!?? SMH! He also 'escorted' the victim at GUNPOINT to his house to be raped! This was NOT a DATE!!! It's was not date rape! He kidnapped this young girl at gunpoint, relocated her, bound her, and raped her!
