Well, it didn't bring over the quotes with the post so this may not make sense as to why I replied to the quote.

If he was seen fleeing the location, they would know if he had a child with him. If he didn't, then she must still be at the location. Maybe a laundry or trash chute?

Search for missing Sumter girl shifts to recovery

Officers are to set to hold a news conference about the girl's disappearance at 7 p.m.

Sumter Police Department officers, assisted by area law enforcement agencies and other resources, have been searching since Monday night and will continue until the body of Adams is located. An Amber Alert was not issued in the case because the case did not meet the required guidelines.

oh no... I had hope for this little one, I really did. Sometimes it is all we have even when the logical part of our brain tells us otherwise. Poor little one... and your mother too... no one deserves this.

According to NC court records, Johnson has a criminal history of being arrested for assault and domestic violence related charges. A warrant for a 2015 arrest alleges Johnson struck his then girlfriend in the mouth with a belt, causing a cut on her lip. @wis10

Another arrest warrant from 2016 alleges Johnson jabbed his girlfriend in the face with a hair pick. The victim made criminal complaints against Johnson in both cases, telling investigators, "every weekend something similar happens." @wis10

Caroline Hecker is doing a great job! She needs to shift focus to Missouri and see what she can find. I'm poking around since LE says he's a suspect in a murder, but so far haven't found much.

No surprise to me that victims did not show up, they were terrified that they would end up dead.
