It seems that he was able to communicate with this much info flying around between lawyers. I’ll be interested to know if the weapon is gone or found somewhere.
I mean I GUESS it could be random....but sure would be an odd coincidence.

I was just thinking about this also and interested to know the extent of the injury.
It could have been more than one shot.
Me too. Surviving a gunshot is a wide spectrum.

Alex Murdaugh called his brother, Randy, to report shooting around 2:15 p.m., Griffith said. Alex Murdaugh was airlifted to the Medical University of South Carolina hospital, where he is being treated.
Randy Murdaugh has not been able to enter the hospital due to COVID-19 restrictions, Griffith said, but Alex Murdaugh has been able to communicate with him by phone, “which is obviously an encouraging sign.”
So did he call his brother and not 911?

A superficial gunshot wound to the head????
