Found Deceased SC - Susan Wilkes, 59, West Columbia, 12 June 2014 *Arrests*

OMG I'm so sad to hear this news!

After the interview I thought it was odd, but then back paddled and said let's give him the benefit of the doubt, but my first instinct was correct after all.

Bad to murdered, worse to be murdered by your own family.

My questions now are:

Where is her body?
How did LE get to them? What evidence they have? (they must have otherwise they wouldn't charge them)

I guess we will find out today:

Morrison said more information would be released Thursday.

Wow! I try not to read too much into media interviews of the family in these cases but her husband's interview was just odd. I remember thinking he wasn't being honest. And, the Sunday School teacher comment! Ugh! I can't find that video of his interview now so maybe LE had them remove it?

I also thought it was unusual how detailed their description was of what she was last seen wearing. Maybe it's just my husband and son but I doubt they would recall such detail if I left for a walk.

Poor Susan! I hope they find her soon.

I am listening to the video interview of Marion right now.
Here is the link.

Well, I watched the video of the husband and I thought he seemed very believable, but I am dumb and gullible about stuff like that:)

I found an article from March 2014 of Little Mountain in Newberry County:

This article just updated that Susan was buried behind a home on Gardenia Court in the Little Mountain Area in Newberry County.
Police believe Susan's body was kept in the garage several days,
and they could have been arguing over finances.
Marion admitted to killing Susan.

Little Mountain Rd. is where Stephen Beckham dumped his wife's body. (Victoria Beckham.)

This is so sad! Rest In Peace Susan. I'm sorry your husband and son betrayed you so, allegedly.

Chief: Missing woman's body found; husband admits to murder in court

Tyndall said information obtained during interviews led investigators to Wilkes' body late Wednesday afternoon.

Police believe the two kept Wilkes' body in their garage for several days after her murder.

Tyndall indicated a motive for the killing could have been family in-fighting over finances.

IMO

The husband admitted to killing her, maybe to protect his son from a murder charge? Maybe the son helped move the body.
