    Missing Kyron Horman

    June 17 · Edited

This coming Saturday, there is a coordinated search for Kyron planned.

Would you like to come and help search for Kyron? If so, please send an email to Kelly (Kyron's Aunt) at justice4kyron@yahoo.com by Thursday evening.

It is very important that you send your information to Kelly, as each person needs to be sent an authorization form to print, fill out, and bring with them to be able to volunteer.

The location of the search will be emailed out to each volunteer the night before the search. The location will NOT be disclosed any other way.

All volunteers must be 18 years of age or older.

We will be starting the search at 8 AM and will continue until all the search areas have been exhausted. We are happy with any amount of time you can give us, just make sure you inform the person grouping the teams so they can pair you with others that are in the same time frame.

Please wear clothing appropriate for hiking that you don't mind if it gets muddy or wet. Bug spray and sunscreen are a also good idea.

Snacks and water will be provided.

It has been almost 4 years since precious Kyron went missing. He NEEDS to come home.

PORTLAND, Ore. -- The mother of a Portland boy who disappeared four years ago says the search for her son will extend to a new area this weekend.

Desiree Young said the search could aid authorities in the investigation during an interview Friday morning on KATU News.

“We have some information that this area can be key in the investigation, so we’re going to try and help law enforcement,” Young said. “Sometimes it’s just us ruling out areas. It depends. And other times it’s where we’re searching an area that’s key to the investigation.

I know there have been a lot of searches for Kyron, but has Klaas ever done one before? Where are you, Kyron? It's time to come home.

Let this be the time Kyron is found and brought home to his mom and dad. C'mon, little guy, let them know where you are.

IIRC there was some controversy over having "outside agencies" searching up until now. Portland used its own state mandated search parties. This is the first Klaas search I know of anyway.

I hope they find Kyron. As tragic as that would be, he needs to come home.

Oh I wish I had seen this earlier today. I would make the drive to Portland to help search but I can't find any info on where and what time search volunteers are meeting Saturday morning. And, now it's so late to email the contact. Guess I can try..

I wish I could help, too, TessDeco. I'll be in Portland next weekend (from the East coast). I'd take time out of my family vacation to help in a search for him, if I could.
