Jesus God in heaven, someone get this man a muzzle. Please for the love of all things holy.
Listen to his tone and facial expression when he says that he is sorry if Travis' family is disappointed with the verdict.

Many many years ago, a police officer called my mother's house to say that he was holding my brother in protective custody to stop him from jumping on the subway tracks and killing himself. I went to help my brother and met this officer.
A nightmare day and night later, this officer called and wanted to speak to me. He told me that my brother had said a lot to him, that he wanted to help me, and that hearing what my brother had told him would help me. I said yes, of course.
I thought it was a little strange that he asked me to come to his house rather than the police station, but he explained he was helping me on his own time. I went to his house. I was stressed to the point of breaking down myself. I needed answers. He opened the door and within 20 minutes I was being raped.
Was it my fault that I trusted him? Was it my fault that he chose me because I was the perfect victim-vulnerable in a thousand ways? That until that exact day I believed all people are inherently good and that even if they made really huge mistakes, they should be forgiven, because compassion should always trump anger?
No. It was the rapist's fault for raping me. And it was the killer who killed Travis, a man who very much wanted to live more and longer and better, and who was in no way whatsoever responsible for his own death.
Thank you Gauntlet!! Everyone needed something good to look forward to today!:seeya:
Color me confused as well.
Do we have two "ponytail" jurors - one male, one female??
I hate to say this (and it's just my opinion), but it seems to me somehow CKJA made some form of positive impression on the foreman. Just by his saying he would like to talk to her, makes me realize he doesn't get her at all. What good would it do to speak to a pathological liar???? And now finding out all the jurors agreed not to speak until next week , and then he does this behind their back, makes me think he has his own agenda - whatever that might be.
Oh my goodness. I'm so sorry that you had to go through that. *Hugs, hugs, hugs*
yes - the younger girl w/ a ponytail who is tweeting, and the man w/ the ponytail whi walked out of court by himself and was chased for 3 blocks and on to his train by JVM - he seemed upset to me at didn't want to be around the other jurors imo
i agree - moreover i think the foreman was just one of those type of seniors who values respect, especially from younger generations, the type of older person who is always complaining about the lack of respect shown by today's youth. and ja played him (and others of his ilk) like a fiddle with the contrived attention she paid the jury, the feigned respect, especially as the jury arrived and left the courtroom - not only was ja's act painfully transparent, it was enough to give most the willies.I hate to say this (and it's just my opinion), but it seems to me somehow CKJA made some form of positive impression on the foreman. The thought of this does not make me want to roll on the floor with laughter. There is nothing funny about it.
A beautiful person, Travis Alexander, is dead.
A young woman threw her life away when she did this. She will now pay the ultimate penalty; losing her freedom and perhaps her mind after years in solitary confinement. It is still unknown whether or not she will be executed for her crime.
I feel no sympathy or any kind of compassion for the killer. It is tragic, however, to see how many lives have been forever harmed by this senseless act of violence.
In all fairness, this foreman's words have been chopped up into sound bytes. So when you watch it, think of the totality of the interview, because there might be parts that we haven't seen or other words he said before or after. I don't know the context in which he said these things because a reporter is voicing over the questions in some of the interview segments I've seen.
Maybe you have to use the ALV "going behind the words" on this one--seriously--until you hear a long, uninterrupted interview. Otherwise, the media might be twisting sound bytes to make his meaning different.
If I'm wrong and there's an unterrupted and uncut up interview that shows him to be this way, please link me, so I can see it.

I would think Dr Drew has e mail for those of us that dn't tweet. Perhaps time to email him re: interview tactics??? I really think this juror needs a 1 on 1 sit down . Then the next hour as umm NG would say "unleash the lawyers" and body language specialists, and radio hosts, and other nonimportant folks...JMO

That's ok I signed for a UPS pkg and actually signed my MAIDEN name ..It was like out of no where LOL
I believe Travis was trying to abstain from having sex until he found his mate. There is no proof, but if he had sex with her on June 4, I will not blame him, at 30 his testosterone has to be bursting at the seams.
Travis would never call the police on JA, he was a forgiving and trusting man. I don't think he knew the extent of how dangerous this woman truly was.
LOL why do u look like lil buddy?:floorlaugh:
tweeter = alt juror #17 "ponytail"
man with ponytail getting on bus = juror #9 Willy
