Re: peer reviews. The appeals court judges just overturned two of his decisions, that's as close as we'll get to any official review or comment I think.
Lots of judges/attorneys on TV were discussing it daily during the trial.
Most of what I watched were fairly critical of his handling of Baez IIRC - we all thought he was going to be a stickler for the rules but found that those only applied to the prosecution.

Here is a peer review - [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lyH6XDaenJs"]HLN: Nancy Grace 'The devil is dancing' - YouTube[/ame]

And love her or hate her, at least she had the nerve to say it.

'Somewhere, the devil is dancing tonight.'

Update - I realize it is not a fair peer review - I will try to find someone who has as many epic fails who spoke out on the case! NG has more wins that JB ever will, IMHO.

I posted something about FBI High Risk Register. Some serial killers score surprisingly low. I can imagine Casey Anthony scoring very high on it.

I just wanted to bring over that the killer of Jessica Ridgeway admitted to concocting his own chloroform from an internet recipe. It's not like chloroform is an everyday word for teenagers so I wonder if he learned about choloroform from his college classes or from cases like this?

He said he used a red rag soaked in chloroform that he made using a recipe he found on the Internet.

Hi Luv - thanks for the comment - and no I haven't because - and I'm being honest here - my life got so out of control in so many areas with Caylee's case because I was so obsessive that I had to give this one a pass. For some reason, once a case starts I can't seem to step away from it - and since I am four hours behind, I join in during business hours. I've just been following along in the "news" and wondering WTH is going on with this woman. But it looks fascinating and therein lies the problem!

I'm feeling more "healed" so "next time".

This is O/T - sorry

Is it me or did we completely miss this case? Sound familiar? Baby discarded on the side of the road freezes to death, and the bodies of baby twins found in the trunk of a car that had been impounded for a year?

Wow - remember the arguments we had earlier in the Caylee case that mothers don't kill their own children? At least this mother was found guilty of one of these deaths!!:furious:

Here is the thread on the case you are talking about. It was under Crimes & Trials.

Thank you watcher9 - it is horrifying and bone chilling - I just have no explanation for how I missed this case in the news. What a terrible case - at least there has been a resolution in the murder of one of the dead infants. If she's made a deal on a guilty charge for the one charge instead of three and can get a possible sentence of 20 - 60 years - let's pray it will be 60. I'll be watching for her sentencing in April.

As a side note, it seems clear there were addiction issues here - but I'm so fed up with excuses for these terrible crimes - there is no excuse for murder!!

In a revealing interview on WFTV-Channel 9’s “Central Florida Spotlight,” Perry mentioned several reasons for that fixation: Grandparents George and Cindy Anthony were “pulling out all stops” to find their granddaughter, Caylee.

re the bold: huh?

disappointed, hearing that, from him

Pulling out all the stops as in committing perjury! :what:

I believe Caylee's remains had been found well before Cindy Anthony committed perjury.

IMO he was referring to their time in court. They weren't doing a thing to find her before her remains were found, that's for sure,so Judge Perry must not realize that Cindy expressly forbade George to search for Caylee....

Here is CA at the bond hearing back in July 22, 2008 -
[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XqccQJpuKVU"]Cindy Anthony Bond Testimony 7/22/08 - YouTube[/ame]

Back then, I think I needed to believe that finding Caylee and getting to the truth of the matter was their only concern and agenda. Then the 3+ years of the CA and GA side show flushed that belief right down the toilet.

I wonder when the Dr Phil money will run out? When it does, who will be the first one to turn?

I watched the DP show on Friday and one part of it still sits on my mind that was not addressed. DP made the comment, twice I believe that KC had reconciled with her father but, it was not really discussed. Did anyone else remember hearing that comment? My question is this: If this were my child and he/she had done the same thing to me that KC did to her father, would I be able to reconcile with my child? I don't think I would unless and until they got professional help and admitted their mistakes. That would be the lies and I would expect a public apology. Although we know that's not going to happen. Anyone else's thoughts?

Very true. Who is to say she would never "cry wolf" on George again? He may find himself locked up facing certain charges if she ever turns that rage on him, instead of Caylee.

It is interesting if I go to Google and type up Casey Anthony, I get:
Casey Anthony Jodi Arias
Casey Anthony James Holmes
Casey Anthony Jerry Sandusky
