Does anyone have info re: how much money the Plackers dropped at the casino? Gosh. It me boil that they couldn't afford to pay for the funeral and haven't established a reward fund, yet they hit the casino. I know they're not traditional, but there should be values somewhere in the family.

I don't know if anyone is following behind them tallying it up but when Sheza went there if I recall correctly she said that Vicky was playing the nickle machine and PP had spent about $20.00.

I think she said they were there with someone else maybe their daughter. Maybe she gave them the money to play just to get their minds off of everything for a short while.

I don't really know though. I have seen tragedy strike before and after a few months the family members try to do something to get their minds off of their pain. Of course it usually doesn't work.

And it seemed not to be working. From what Sheza said Vicky sat there like she was in a stupor. I am sure her heart nor her mind was into playing slots.

Do we even know how much has been raised in the fund?

The reason I ask is my father in law died last September and his funeral expenses were $10,000. Taylor's funeral looked very nice and I believe it was of a higher price than the average. JMO tho.

Awfully kind of you, JNA... Yeah no doubt those at the school have their hands full as it is. The secretary told me that they first decided to sell them to the general public because they had been getting SO MANY requests for them. Seems like it's probably a full-time job just stuffing envelopes and sending them out. Bless them for doing it, though, with everything else they have to deal with.

Indeed...I also was told there was going to be a place in Dustin and in Weleetka that would be selling them. One of the gas stations in Henryetta is selling them as well.

Yes, Patterson, and he DOES have mental issues - all on his public records. He gets in trouble with the law and they commit him to a mental facility, not jail.
