Spicher was gone 3+ hours on day Kyron vanished

calli, you also have me thinking...

in the people article DDS says they read articles but stayed away from the comments sections... funny that on the 30th she is outed for commenting!!!!!

Spicher describes being in "crisis mode" with Terri during that time at her home outside Portland, Ore. They tried to avoid the media circus during the day – with no cable TV, they looked at articles online, but learned to avoid the reader comments – and guarded against any potential intruders at night.

No cable TV? Did they have cable before? Or did Kaine have it disconnected when he moved out? He should have had the internet cut off too. Leave her electricity and running water, that's it.

I would bet that the outing on the 30th is how they learned to avoid the comments.

In this CBS interview, Desiree says that DeDe still has not spoken to police.

Sorry for bumping up an ancient thread...

Just noticed....

Did DeDe's attorney Chad Stavley retract his statement?

Spicher's attorney Chad Stavley said DeDe was gardening on the day Kyron disappeared and never left home.

"She's getting asked questions, she's getting treated frankly, like she's a suspect, when she's not," he said.

Stavley also told NBC Dateline Monday that Spicher had been, and planned to keep, cooperating with investigators. He said that she had already shared text messages and emails sent to and from Terri with detectives.

BBM.

Dede's deposition:
http://media.oregonlive.com/portland_impact/other/DeDe-watermarked-1.pdf

Q: Have you given your phone records to the Portland police or any other investigating agencies looking into Kyron's disappearance? I want to know whether you've given phone records to any police agency.
A: No.
Q: Have you given any emails to any police agencies?
A: No.

When I read your post Donjeta, a thought popped into my head. As weird as it sounds, could DS be the witness LE wants to "protect"? No time to think or reason this out soundly. Be back later ...

Sure....cooperate.....that's why they got burner phones.

The only way I can see these 2 not having something to do with Kyron's disappearance is if they were having a little fling (with each other, of course) and haven't come clean about it because they are embarrassed.

I'm not saying it to be funny. I am dead serious.

They need to just TELL THE TRUTH. Whatever that may be.

Where is Kyron???!!

I agree, however the text msgs don't suggest that. They suggest that Terri was angry at Kaine and resented Kyron. When it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck...

DS and TH look similar enough, that if it was DS in the truck, it's going to be difficult to prove it wasn't Terri, if that makes sense.

Also, if someone mistakenly assumed Terri was in the truck, but then saw her in the school, wouldn't they be like, "Oh, I thought I just saw you outside!" or something along those lines. Ya know? It would be memorable.

I don't think DS and TH look very much alike when you really look at them, but at a passing glance, or through tinted windows, one might mistakenly assume DS for TH. Terri was known in the school, she volunteered, if someone thought they saw her in the truck and then went into the school and saw her there, wouldn't they mention it? I'm not being clear, because I hate this case, but the inference is that DS was in the truck. How can the witnesses be sure Terri wasn't in the truck. What makes them so sure? And if the inference is that DS was in the truck, or LE assumes that to be the case, why can't the witnesses confirm?

The grounds keeper stated that he saw a woman in the truck that wasn't TH. I wonder if he could id her?
