My question is (Apart from the curtsey to the Queen) because I am not knowledgeable on the curtsey protocol.

Why was Meghan the only one who curtseyed to Prince Charles? Yes, I noticed only him and not Camilla.
Does curtsying to Prince Charles include Camilla or should there have been a separate curtsey for her?

How come the other royals did not curtsey to Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla?

Or, was this an event where (besides the Queen) the royals did not need to curtsey to Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla?

I think they only have to curtsy when they see someone for the first time that day. Something like that. Hang on...

I solemnly declare here and now, I aint not never curtseying to no one.

Firstly because my socialist upbringing disallows it.

But mostly because I would not get back up again without assistance.

From some of the comments, you most definitely can slam those commenters as not being decent people. If I realised that say my neighbour was one of the trolls, I would be so disgusted. Why do you think they rarely use their actual names? JMO

Ha, I was just wondering whether the royals actually curtsy to each other in a private setting, I can't imagine it! Perhaps an over-exaggerated one with an arm flourish, to take the mick?

Apparently Kate is meant to curtsy to Beatrice and Eugenie as they are 'blood princesses', unless she is with William in which case they have to curtsy to her.

I remember some years ago, a cousin of mine was supposed to salute an uncle because the uncle held an officer's post in the forces. Imagine Christmas day? Pass the baileys would you? YESSIR!!! They mutually agreed to skip it :D

Firstly, although there is official protocol, it's so old-fashioned, dating from hundreds of years ago, that I doubt it's strictly followed except to the Queen, the reigning monarch.

If Charles and Camilla insisted Kate and William bow and curtsy every time they encounter them, it would require subsequent icebreaking before gramps could play with his grandchildren, etc. It's would just feel weird to younger people, in daily life.

Whereas, it says in the article that Meaghan hadn't seen Charles for months, so it maybe felt appropriate to her, under the circumstances, to make a solemn gesture of respect to him, her husband's father and future king. Camilla isn't her husband's mother, and I can't imagine Harry has super respectful feelings for his father's mistress, who caused his mother so much pain.

It will be intetesting to see, when Charles becomes King, how things like that will or won't change

    Just moo.

We could probably get a better fit if someone sent us measurements!

Give us 20 minutes with that woman & one of those dresses. 20 minutes! Too tight, bodice too long, armsyce depth wrong...whoever accepted $14,000 for that dress should be ashamed.

Long ago in a galaxy far away I worked bridal. Seriously, 20 minutes would make a big difference.

Now I expect the Queen, The Princess Royal, the Duchess of Cornwall, the Duchess of Cambridge, and the Countess of Wessex all invest more than 20 minutes in fittings.

    That's In My Professional Opinion

And for Harry to bring US politics into it was a mistake since the banking summit they spoke at recently supports Trump. Good luck with the Goldman Sachs partnership after this. They are going to need some good security after this poor episode. IMO

'But whatever he has done or hasn't done, is completely separate from me and my wife. We operate in a way of inclusivity and we are focusing on community.

'And so we are completely separate from the majority of my family.'

    WOW!!! ^^^^
