Glad she is not remaining silent.

from the article

"The Good Place" star Jameela Jamil also stood up for Markle. She wrote how the British royal family should "be more embarrassed” by Prince Andrew’s alleged involvement with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein than “an American supporting women voting in her own country, and loosely referencing the importance of general democracy which is being threatened here currently.”

Yes, I'm sure everyone in the BRF is very unhappy. Kate, particularly, especially when laughing it up with PW, PH, and others looks especially unhappy. Obviously.

The pair increasing their royal duties is a welcome relief from the Sussex drama. They don't compete for publicity, try to upstage others, and never whine about nobody asking them if they're "ok". They are really polished at this point. I know others intensely disagree with this, but I could easily see PW ready for the throne should PC step aside for some reason.

Wow. Article mentions FF and how it lays the blame of Kate and Meghan not being better friends all on Kate, offering that perhaps Kate couldn't handle adding more support for Meghan onto all of her other priorities. There is something so obviously snarky about this, all while parading as an objective, professional "biography" of sorts.

How on earth would the authors know how much support and friendship Kate did offer to Meghan? PH has been quoted as saying Kate was wonderful, that Meghan was receiving quite a lot of support from the BRF. And there's this: If they had been truly interested in learning what the real situation concerning the friendship was, how about they interview KATE? KATE's friends? The book FF is simply a hit job on the BRF, but it is enlightening to finally know just who Meghan was the most jealous of.

Kates friends also haven’t leaked anything to the press to end up in a court brawl.

While some linked articles may contain reference to racial issues, please just do NOT bring that discussion to Websleuths or even mention it here. It is against TOS as it is a social justice issue that typically ends up in nothing but bickering and goes absolutely nowhere.

Thank you.

Meghan Markle on 'Feminist' Prince Harry Setting an Example for Archie

"But you need that. And I look at our son and what a beautiful example that he gets to grow up with a father who is so comfortable owning that as part of his own self-identification," Meghan continued. "That there’s no shame in being someone who advocates for fundamental human rights for everyone, which of course includes women."

The Queen and Prince Philip's incredible living room unveiled: then and now

The Queen and Prince Philip are currently enjoying their summer break at Balmoral Castle in Scotland, and past photos have unveiled that the living room has stayed almost entirely the same as it was when Queen Elizabeth was 50 years old, compared to when she was 91.

In 1976, a photo was released of the couple in the room, showing an aqua green sofa, cream striped wallpaper, a selection of photos hung in gold frames, and two wooden side tables. The door at the time was wooden, and there was a bunch of flowers positioned at one side, next to a candelabra.

Fast forward to 2017, when the then-Governor-General of Australia Sir Peter Cosgrove and his wife met the Queen, and the room seemed to have been kept exactly the same. The very sofa on which she sat with Prince Philip 41 years prior was still visible and located in the same spot, as were the photos framed on the walls, the wooden side table and even a bunch of flowers and the candelabra just about visible behind Peter.

Diana statue to be installed on her 60th birthday

A statue of Diana, Princess of Wales, commissioned by the Duke of Cambridge and the Duke of Sussex, will be installed on what would have been her 60th birthday, Kensington Palace says.

It will be placed in the garden of the London palace on 1 July 2021.
The statue was commissioned by the princes in 2017 to mark the 20th anniversary of their mother's death and to "recognise her positive impact".
On Monday it will be 23 years since she was killed in a car crash in Paris.

Kensington Palace said installation of the sculpture had been delayed by the coronavirus pandemic, but it would be unveiled in the Sunken Garden next year.
It has been created by artist Ian Rank-Broadley, whose portrait of the Queen appears on all UK coins.

Further details of the design will be announced later, according to Kensington Palace.
