A packed public gallery in Baden-Clay today and a lengthy line of people turned away when all the seats were full.

The anticipation of how the proceedings for today will start are nerve racking.

I am at work and trying to look like I am typing up important documents - but instead glued to WS and Twitter..... So not employee of the month this month

11:05am: The 11th day of the trial is due to begin at 11am.

Gerard Baden-Clay will be "called upon" to reveal whether he will step into the witness box to give evidence in his own defence or any call witnesses.

Should he choose not to take the stand or call witnesses the court will be adjourned to resume on Monday morning.

The prosecution closed the Crown case against Mr Baden-Clay yesterday.
