We may never find out - but I would so like to know what brought police to the home so quickly that morning. Realistically, would calling police to say your partner was half an hour or so late returning from a walk bring them to the home almost immediately? No, I wouldn't think so. I know this has been discussed at length - and is hardly relevant at this point - BUT the question of what brought the police there so quickly is one that keeps coming back to me.

Chances are they had a job close by, so finished that job and went to this one due to it's close proximity. The alarm bells rang loud and clear at the sight of GBC face scratches.

My brain is frozen with this cold weather.....and up early to see Germany. Apparently German fans have been directed to stay in the stadium to be escorted out after their annihilation of Brazil....

sorry to all members if I spoiled it but you really have no excuse not to have watched it live if you are a true Football fan....

Would be fantastic to get a big sleuthers group court shot once the verdict is handed down! With champagne in hand! You know, just so Mr Fuller knows who to hand out hugs to after he's read the forum hehehehe :happydance:

Counting down the minutes here in Melbourne. Hurry up 10am!!!!!

KK I think that is spot on, and whichever way it happened that night somehow, someway Allison made it clear to him that he was no longer in total control. As someone said yesterday, Allison was now in the danger zone.

A few other nightly niggles; from some if the entries in her journal it looks like Allison was far from the shrinking violet Gerred and his friends seemed to make on the stand. Allison's comments on regretting getting married (is that why she became 'unresponsive' and stayed in bed on her honeymoon, realising already it was a mistake), her entries on saying she gave him sh.t. I have a feeling that Gerred demanded the happy family facade, but that Allison behind loses doors did not shy away from stating what was on her mind. So Gerred had to be doubly secretive as Allison was smart, intelligent but also knew how to give it back. Allison made him feel inferior and part of the GBC and BC and BW performance was pay back for making him feel that way, her positive personality, her lovely aura still eclipsing them after her murder.

While telling his life story on the stand GBC, and specifically the proposal under the Eiffel Tower (Milton version) part, he did say that Allison was shocked when he proposed. She could have been mortified about the fact that she was under a fake tower on Park Rd - but he also went on to say that she took a week to decide if I remember correctly. Maybe there was something about him back then that didn't quite sit right and Allison might not have seriously considered him husband material before he proposed?? We should all listen to what our gut feelings are telling us before making important decisions.

Anyway, I agree that Allison was probably not the passive, quivering shrinking violet that the BC's have tried to portray.

Trying to catch up but under a tornado warning for the next half hour. Doesn't the weather know I have a lot to read?!

Minus 2 degrees at 06.30am yesterday where I am, in beautiful sunny SE Queensland!

Liadon, I noticed in your post, you said that Gerrard averted his eyes when photos of Allison deceased were put up. Unable to view the truth?
The rest of the time he was attentive, and even taking notes.
My mind went back to the initial police interviews when he appeared quite animated when talking about himself, then looked down at the table when talking about Allison.

I noticed on Moonlight's Support Allison Baden Clay site, that Todd Fuller called Gerrrard “this man” a few times yesterday with a huge emphasis on the THIS."
That was very good to hear.
Especially in light of Mr Byrne's words "THIS woman" referring to Allison as some type of vermin. Those words, were very cruel, very wrong, very derogatory and very unnecessary. Not to mention, very cringe worthy.

THAT man will be taken to account today by Todd Fuller QC.
THAT man will finally have to look at himself and recognize what lies beneath the surface of a false facade.
THAT man was in love only with himself.

Man, really annoyed at pushing shoving non-family this morning. I was about 15th in line outside, then the doors opened and the rush to get in and line up outside main court now puts me back in about 30th. Doubt I'll get into main court now. I'm lining up to see if I can but probably end up in overflow. KiwiJayne has gone to Banco.

Hey homie, SE QLD is my stomping ground too. I was out really early yesterday morning, and yes, every bone in my face hurt. I keep focusing on the fact that it is seven weeks until spring.

Changed my avatar, hoping its ok with MW...

What a lovely idea! How touched GM would be to receive a big colorful card. I think ages ago someone here or on the other site said that they would send G a postcard from every holiday destination they visited, saying something like "bet you wish you were here" ;)

I had a chuckle again this morning over Fuller's comment yesterday that if you have 3 things to do, is it faster to do them in the wrong order. I'm looking forward to some more intelligent analysis of GBCs testimony today. It's such a relief to finally have all the BS and inconsistencies shown up for what they are.

I'm a little bit hurt that i won't be able to watch it as it unfolds today but I'm OK. I'll just have to casually check my phone every few minutes.

I love that he managed to slip in 's&$! shower shave' and 'business as usual'!
