I'm sure LE is doing everything in their power to locate the missing vehicle & the toddler, but without a description, the general public will be of no use. People could be on the lookout if they knew what car to look for. Prayers for the little one's safety!

The link above has been updated:
Police have identified the missing child as Shatinna Moore. She is a black female.

The car is a gray 2002 Mercedes S500 with TN tag X7993M.

The person that stole the car has been found, but the car and baby are still missing.

Maybe I'm just in a sour mood today, but....this story is starting to smell like BS. Jmo.

I don't get it, if they have the description of the vehicle why wouldn't this fit the criteria for an Amber Alert? I wonder if the woman in question is stating she did or did not take the vehicle. And was she actually 'seen' driving the vehicle away? Gosh I wish there was more information if LE believes this child was taken same time as the vehicle.

I remember another case very similar to this not that long ago from somewhere in the NE. My understanding is the child is safe (because they were never in danger in the first place). Our guess in the other case was that the person reporting the stolen car added that there was a child inside to garner a larger and more urgent police response.
