Pretty weak prosecution of this case. Why even bother with this plea if he's going to be out in a month? Take a chance at trial.

And this quote from the article is disheartening - "Last week, the hit man charge fell apart when the district attorney realized the statute of limitations had run out."

Today marks the 15th anniversary of the disappearance of Hendersonville resident Salena Harris Tackett. Although an arrest regarding her disappearance was made, her body has never been found, and the Hendersonville Police Department is asking anyone with information regarding the crime to contact them.

This is a local case for me, and I am glad our PD is finally re-opening it. Salena Tackett, a 23 year old mother of three, went missing from her home in January of 2003. She was reported missing by her husband of one week, Tyrone Tackett. As far as I can tell/recall, this was a fly-by-night story when it happened, and I was always surprised that more wasn't said about it here in town.

I grew up with her. I’ve known her since 5th grade. She lived across the street from me in Louisville Ky. She has no family here. Her mother passed away. You all know anything about this case?

I live only about 20 or 30 mins from this area and have never heard of this case until on here it's sad that even locally there hasn't been much coverage

This makes me sick!! She was my childhood friend! Lived across the street from me. We went to elementary all the way through high school together. She moved away, and we never knew she was even missing. Her mother has now passed away, and that’s all she had here in Louisville Ky. All of us here would like to see her found! She deserves that! We think money has kept her case getting out. Tyrone’s on blood cousins says he did it! Where is she???
