NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Johnthony Walker will continue to serve four years in prison for his role in the deadly Woodmore Elementary school bus accident in November, 2016 that killed six children.
On Tuesday, a Tennessee Appeals Court rejected a motion by Walker's attorneys on Tuesday for a new trial, and let his conviction stand.

The man convicted in the deadly Woodmore school bus crash has been indicted by a Davidson County, Tennessee, grand jury on charges of statutory rape.
Johnthony Walker, 26, is facing eight counts of aggravated statutory rape and one count of sexual exploitation of a minor after the grand jury returned the indictments Monday, according to WSMV-TV Channel 4 in Nashville.

The mother of Zoie Nash, a 4th grader killed in the crash, says she’s trying to stay positive (on third anniversary).

Walker is expected to appear in a Nashville courtroom on the statutory rape case on December 5.

'Walker has been on bond since October 2019 and was convicted in March. He remained out on bond for the deadly school bus crash at the time of his arrest in Nashville.'

'Johnthony Walker, 26, pleaded guilty to on eight counts of aggravated statutory rape and one count of sexual exploitation of a minor.'

The plea agreement -
'an additional six years in prison once he has completed his four-year sentence for criminally negligent homicide'
