Yep who knows it’s a head scratcher for sure but I think if they thought it was the parents there would be an arrest soon but I’m looking at all scenarios.

FBI involvement invariably locks up a case until it is solved, so no surprises there.
    Could be quite a wait.
    There remain three outstanding matters.
    - Summer has not been found

-They're still seeking information on the Toyota

-They have expressed a desire to question the driver of the Toyota who 'may have witnessed something' and that person has not shown up yet.

As well as all that there is a CARD team sitting there for quite a long time.

n 1932, Congress gave the FBI jurisdiction under the “Lindbergh Law” to immediately investigate any reported mysterious disappearance or kidnapping involving a child of “tender age”—usually 12 or younger. There does not have to be a ransom demand nor does the child have to cross state lines or be missing for 24 hours before the FBI will become involved.

Our field offices respond to cases involving the mysterious disappearance of a child. All reports of circumstances indicating that a minor may have been abducted are given an immediate preliminary inquiry to evaluate evidence, circumstances, and information. If a case is found to be warranted under federal law, we will immediately open an investigation in partnership with state and local authorities.

Child abductions by strangers are often complex and time is of the essence. FBI Child Abduction Rapid Deployment (CARD) teams are deployed soon after an abduction has been reported to a local FBI field offices, to FBI Headquarters, or to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, or in other cases when the FBI determines an investigation is warranted.

And they'd see two pickup trucks right there by the house. Wouldn't that be a deterrent too?

Still trying to figure out the timeline, as much as it can be understood.

Am I correct that after the 911 calls, there was a period of time when both CB and DW were out on the roads at the same time?

I thought she said it was 'OK' for them to go down there as long as they had walkie talkies and a knife. Surely she didnt mean the knife was for cutting fishing line while they were searching for Summer?

At that point, abduction seemingly wasn't on their minds. Who would send their other kids out to look if they thought an abductor was lurking?

I'm going to guess no. In her interview with CM she said she'd buy her little toys from garage sales when she had a little money. MOO.

Unless the perp knew for sure that DW was at work , far away in Johnson City, and was going to be there for a long while. A work colleague for example, drywaller or electrician. Just leaves women and children home. Still could have been shot though. Also I wonder if one or more adults were napping at some point.

Chris says he received a timeline from Don that LE has but LE is holding it close to the vest so Chris is not going to discuss it.

CM-this is not a random abduction. This is someone who had access to the property.

What is the "recent random abduction" Chris references?

But what evidence do you expect to find ?
A missing shoe? Barefoot- a piece of cloths a toy ? How can LE be sure no abduction ? They must look for footprints, tire marks , trampled down grass etc. There was no mention of anything like that in my opinion!
Did LE found the guy who camped out in their shed and question him? Red flag going up in my department!
    MOO !

From what I understand, both parents are felons, and unable to own guns. Unlikely they had any on the property with cps hovering. This is something a work colleague might also know.
