I am worried for Candus.
Its complicated my thoughts but she is at high risk .

Her whole world has implodded.

Even when/if we are the makers of our own mayhem and chaos...doesn't mean we seen it coming and /or are prepared for it.

yeah.
I have this sense that CW only found her niche in life in motherhood.
I think she loved it, just going through all the photographs of all the places she brought them..
I have no clue how she was in her marriage or how she felt about being married.
The loss of a child, like Summer would put a huge strain on any marriage, I'd imagine.
Sooner or later it could be thrown at her that Summer disappeared during her watch.. in a fit of anger or frustration or sheer vitriol..

Does she have anywhere to go?
Anyone to call?
Any human contact at all apart from her husband?

I think she did her best with all she had.
Now she has nothing.

I am not quite as compassionate as you.
Her life has been her choice.
But as I said just because you are willing and able for the mayhem doesn't mean you are equipped for the consequences.

They we so blessed to have 4 beautiful children and the luxury of their own parcel of land. Living debt free in paradise. Only it wasn't

Very very sad and helpless watching people's lives eaten away from substance abuse. So far reaching the impacts of those around them. Mostly kids.

Have a sense of foreboding dread waiting to hear about the tox reports for them both.

There are ways that this question could have an impact upon her disappearance.

Let's take a hypothetical, so I don't break TOS. Let's take a hypothetical case, where a child is being neglected or abused by her family. And maybe CPS is already watching the family and the family is tense about that.

So if that child were to be accidentally injured and died, while in care of the family, would they feel compelled to cover up the death, in order to avoid CPS taking the other children? And maybe to avoid an autopsy, which might show abuse or neglect to the deceased child?
Yes, very pertinent.

I wanted to jump in first thing and say that I am sorry that I did not respond to questions late yesterday. I have been diagnosed with BPPV, Positional Vertigo and the condition and the medication is really messing with me. Scrolling down threads sometimes sends me into spin mode. Going to a specialist next week to see if it is only BPPV which may resolve, or if it's Meniere's Disease.

Back to Summers case. I was curious about feral dog activity in the area is it does occur in all 50 states. NJ has had a horrible problem with feral dog packs back in the 70's, a town terrorized in 2020 and another town overrun this year. Texas had an serious attack on a human and a fatal attack on a human in 2016. How aggressive the pack is depends on it's mix. Results of an attack would be an area where there would be a lot of dog prints and pushed down undergrowth plus signs of a struggle, shoes and torn clothing, possibly bone fragments. The remains could be nearby or have been carried off to a den. It is far easier to spot an intact body than it is body parts and scraps of clothing, notably after this amount of time. There is also the possibility of an attack by one or more dogs on the property or on a neighbors property.

I did not bring this up on purpose early on as it is a horrible scenario, and frankly one I would rather not think about, but it is a possibility along with all the other scenario's.

Forgive me if I don't respond to further questions quickly as I work through my current situation. I will post as often as able.

Thank you.
Please go gently with yourself.

Acc to DW, CW tested positive for cannabis. He states he tested negative.
I'm not sure there was any serious substance abuse happening in that home.
He was holding down a job of hard physical labor, she was caring for 4 small children.
I would like an insight into their day to day lives as a family but I guess that will not happen..
If she had not purchased the milk that day, would he have brought it home?
Did she travel to shops frequently or did he do all that?
Were they happy together or just getting on with it?

Did they share the love for animals or was that just her and he tolerated it? Or vice versa?

Did they have any health problems?

This is none of my business and will certainly not help find Summer! I'm missing a clear picture that is within my frame of reference.

I do wonder about the current state of the W home. All of the children are gone. What is CBW’s purpose? She is not working; is she meeting with officials working Summer’s case? She isn’t posting on social media, which she did spend time doing before. DW seems to have found a bunch of others to talk to online and I think he may believe this could be a future endeavor for him. He’s wrong. I’m not sure if he is still attending church or getting assistance from them in his daily life. Is he doing drywall finishing still? How are they spending their days?

@Mountain_Kat

I once found an interesting set of fox tracks (similar behavior between fox and dog) and decided to follow them. Once in a while I would see a curious mark next to the fox tracks, but nothing more. After about a mile I saw a drop of blood here and there next to the tracks and occasional mark. I finally ended up at the fox den where there was blood and feathers all over creation. I backtracked the trail to a farm and informed the farmer that one of his laying hens had been abducted and killed by a fox. There was about a mile between the farm and the fox den. Just like any other scene of an "event", sometimes there is a lot of evidence, sometimes there's not and you have to follow the trail to figure out what happened. ;)

With all the videos, I'm not sure I'm remembering right so, if not, please treat this as my opinion. As far as whether CW know about DW's previous history of SA, I can't say with any certainty. I will say that I seem to recall A (or maybe her L friend) stating in one of their interviews that CW had wanted a boy when she was pregnant with Summer. Maybe even a statement that CH had agreed to take the child if it was a girl? Was this in one of the interviews? At any rate, if it was, then that gives me a feeling that perhaps CW did know and that's why she was hoping for a boy. MOO If anyone does remember this, maybe you know which interview. I could be off base, I don't know.

  • Donald Wells, the father if missing Summer Wells, confirmed his sons had been taken away earlier this month in a podcast interview over the weekend
  • He said rumors swirling around his daughters disappearance had led him to drink, which had in turn led children's services to remove his sons
  • He said it's probably better for them,' as a number of strangers had been showing up at the family home since the disappearance

The sons of Don Wells and Candus Bly have been in CPS custody since last week, their mother told the Johnson City-based WJHL-TV at the courthouse, confirming statements her husband made on a podcast over the weekend.

She told the station that the boys were removed for reasons unrelated to Summer’s disappearance, and Wells suggested that they were now "safer."
Tennessee parents' sons in state custody after disappearance of daughter Summer Wells

Don Wells told the Kingsport Times News, a local paper in east Tennessee, that the Department of Children’s services did remove the boys from the home. Wells said his sons were not safe at the home.

“There’s too much going on and people are crazier than hell, and right now it’s just not safe at my house,” Wells told the news outlet. “There’s too much going on. Too many crazy people coming around trying to start stuff.”

That is all I know or all anybody knows as far as I know.

Are there any active searches going on right now on or near the Well's property or city for that matter? I can't help but feel this investigation is far reaching. JMO

JMO

I believe that searches are still happening.

I do not believe that the area of focus is the Wells' property at this point as they stated in the CM interviews that they have been up there I believe 7 times now and searched.

LE hasn't been telling us anything.

They could have done a dozen more searches by now and us not know.

IMO, I believe that they meant it when they said they will not stop until they find Summer.

Everyone keep a candle burning for this beautiful child!

73 DAYS NOW, WHERE ARE YOU SUMMER????
