There are literally so many why's in this case? This is just another one of them. I think its just all part of a coverup and they weren't ever going to release information if they didn't have to. Just like in the AC4 murders.

At the risk of beating this dead horse again... it seems to me that it's common flea market jewelry from the 80's or 90's. Very common on long Island.

Exactly. I mean why not dismember the kid and toss it in a bag like the others unless it's either special or he didn't want to kill it and maybe has a kid and is remorseful over that.

To be honest Bessie, I believe the initials people are seeing in the peach tattoo is pareidolia. I don't believe there are any initials inserted into the leaf, especially seeing that this tattoo is so small in size. I'm not an expert by any means, but I do have experience developing crime scene photos for law enforcement.

 

I see TBB or TBx something....it may be the Artists Initials as in paintings?? So Maybe that Guy Steve Cullen ( tattoo artist in CT ) was mistaken he did the tattoo for a young Woman fr LI ....

I'm more leaning towards the baby just didn't fit the agenda. The baby was just a unwanted, thing to dispose of without pleasure or remorse just to achieve his ultimate goal. The baby doesn't fit into the ritual or any kind of staging or compulsive behavior so it was just an obstacle. The baby wasn't' despised of the same because it didn't get him off like the ritual that drives him to kill the others and he likely only killed the baby because it would have died either way if left there and couldn't take the chance to leave it anywhere so it was a self preservation/obstacle/afterthought kill. Although this could have presented a opportunity to have control early and more control they he'd ever had which allowed him to use the child to his advantage and that was likely thrilling and he maybe hated to lose that. He would have had total control without anything but a mere hint of a threat. I think for these reasons this was a special encounter to him. I think If he's able to control his desires to keep trinkets and evidence to relive the event. This one maybe different. I also think he's organized I believe he lives some distance from the crimes, nothing extreme but not close 15-25 miles. If he was disorganized hed want to keep them close to himself. It would be an irrational attempt to control the outcome of the discovery and inability to fight compulsion to be near. I think these could be different. I think it is or could be possible the locations are either closer to him because he couldn't resists or have more significance to him. Maybe something specifically before the murders started a car accident perhaps or a place his car broke down and he felt out of control and vulnerable. It would be wise to look into police collision reports from that area and perhaps abandoned vehicles overnight, tickets of those sorts. Possibly death of a love one there.

Just wanted to say "hello". I am new to posting but not new to the forum.

Does anyone recall the pig charm/necklace? Now that the body parts found in two different locations have been linked, was there any jewelry found with the other set of remains? I ask because the pig is a symbol in the Chinese zodiac. Which brings me back to the peaches tattoo. The bitten peach is linked to back to Chinese history including a prostitue and homosexuality.

Forgive me if this has been mentioned but thought I'd ask since those remains were recently linked. I don't recall which set had been found with the necklace/pig charm.

To cause the death of an innocent child surely reserves a special place in hell for this killer. A place where dark energy moves slow as molasses with like kind.

Reading that the Tattoo Artist said she was from the Bronx, and on a wild (maybe goose chase) I typed Peaches, and Bronx into google.
a couple of interesting results popped up.

There was an Asian woman found dead on the North Shore in Lattington. She was found with the pig pendant. Shes also UID.
