They received a call from a man in Connecticut who claimed he remembered giving the tattoo to a woman.

The artist said he remembered the customer as a young black woman, about 18 or 19 years old, who was accompanied by two women, an aunt and a cousin. During the session, he also claimed she told him she was from either the Bronx or Long Island and that she was in Connecticut because having trouble with her boyfriend at the time.

Bristol, CT. Look up any busts or arrests made for solicitation/prostitution during the time she was there.

This tattoo is a brand, pimps put them on their girls to ID who they belong to and this likely was gotten to mend the "boyfriend" (code word for 'her pimp') troubles.

This would be seen by the pimp as a sign of submission.

See if any other similar brands were found on prostitutes in any busts in the area. We have peaches, cherries and Shannan Gilbert had cherries tattooed on her wrist as well.

Check hospitals in the area for any birth records by cesarian with any known pimps listed as the father in Bristol, CT. She would not put a John on the BC.

The women she was with were likely not her family members. They could have been her handlers.

Trafficking fact: "Top girls" handle the other girls when the pimp isn't around. They often have fraudulent back stories, say the girls with them are family members, too.

The girl was probably in the process of being trafficked. This tattoo was most likely a brand.

See if we can connect her to the other girl from CT, Jessica Taylor, or any previous work places in Bristol, CT. Pay special attention to any telemarketing "front businesses".

These escort services operated to appear from like they were telemarketing businesses and they are commonalities among the victims.

These girls might have worked on the same track. Same pimps, same handlers. There is a link if you keep digging.

Also the toddler, have we run Brewers DNA with the unidentified toddlers? He had a child and nobody has ever seen the mother or the child. I am pretty sure Brewers DNA should not be too difficult to get from the stories I have been told. The likelihood he knocked up a prostitute and fathered a child is a high probability.

Hi there, here's the (now useless) link.

But, as you can see, unfortunately, it no longer works.

NB: From my notes, all that I have is that s/he was found near the Belt Parkway, in Jamaica, NY, in a garbage bag.

Another victim, Desiree Cherri, who appeared on Maury Povich, was murdered, and her body was dumped, that same year (May 27, 2006).

These were but two of the many cases I had originally mapped during the Imette St. Guillen murder case. Ms Guillen was murdered/dumped on Feb 25, 2006. Since I was looking at a possible connections, I covered Ms. St. Guillen's case rather extensively (here, here, and here).

I put St. Guillen (Fountain and Seaview) on my Long Island homicide map, too. How odd. Great minds think alike. Do you have official court records on this case, by chance? Can I look it up with pacer?

I think Darryl Littlejohn was framed. If he did take part in the homicide, he did not act alone.

The jewelry was purchased at Walmart, most likely. I purchased something similar in Georgia. Has anyone thought of whether she is from Georgia?
There is a Monica Renita Bennett missing since 1989 from Brunswick, Georgia. Very similar place environmentally to Long Island. I could see her drawn to that area because it reminded her of home, marshes and beaches and such.

He had drawn the tattoo on her the year before the homicide. Cullen recalled that the woman was from New York and had come to Bristol to visit friends. She had entered his studio with another black woman, he said. While she got her tattoo, the two women remarked that they were going to East Hartford later that night to visit another friend, Cullen said.

“In 19 years of practice and 32 years of being around the industry, that is the only tattoo I have ever done or seen of a peach,” Cullen said. “And unless you’re from Georgia, tattoos of peaches are very rare.”

Cullen said the woman did not have a southern drawl to her voice nor did she have a Spanish or urban accent.

“She seemed like a good kid, not the trouble type, just a typical fun-loving kid,” the tattoo artist said. “I got the impression that her friend was definitely from the [Bristol] area.

Monica Renita Bennett

Disappeared from Brunswick, GA. 16 years old when she disappeared in 1989.

In 1996 she would have been 23. That puts her quite close to the girls age Cullen tattooed.

I already submitted this to the GBI so they can get in touch with Nassau to see if they can get a DNA match.

Ask the tattoo artist if its her

She has been missing for 25 yrs.
She has 2 children with a NYC Detective.
DNA has never been collective. Why?
Something stinks here.

Are the children accounted for? I thought Peaches was African American. I just have this feeling Peaches was from Georgia, somehow.

I thought Monica Renita Bennett would be a great lead, but GBI has to get with Nassau on this one.

I also would like Joseph Brewer's DNA compared with the Unidentified Toddler's.

It could be. Even if it isn't, as deedee21 said, something stinks about this disappearance.

Agreed. I would look at her husband, first. Cops don't like to investigate cops, perhaps since they took down the ex NYPD corruption brothel business and got all the officers out causing problems, maybe they can look into it?

Now EDNY and NYPD are in cahoots over the body cam footage of the fight at the subway station. It's so frustrating. I'm praying for them both. This corruption thing is a mess and it's going to take a while to sort it out.

l to r: 2 inch peach/heart tattoo on left breast; Rubbermaid container held torso of black female; floral pillowcase and red towel also found inside container

Hempstead Lake State Pk, Lakeview
Nassau County, NY

28 June 1997

West side of Lakeside Drive, 200 yards north of Peninsula Boulevard, Hempstead Lake State Park. -- Black female torso. Arms, head, and legs below the knee severed, found in green Rubbermaid container, with red towel and floral pillow sham, 16-30 years old.

She had an abdominal scar from a cesarean section and a tattoo of a peach in the shape of a heart with a bite taken out of it and two drips falling from its core on her left breast.

Dead up to three days.

"With no leads to the woman’s identity, the police published a picture of the approximately two-inch wide tattoo in a national tattoo magazine, in the hopes of finding the artist who did the work.

It is possible the woman had other tattoos on her arms or lower legs that the killer did not want found." (Doe Network)
“'They call her Peaches,'” Nassau County Medical Examiner Eric Smith says of his law enforcement colleagues, as he thumbs through photographs of unidentified bodies in the back room of the county morgue—some battered, swollen faces, others clay reproductions with glass eyes.

Her official name is U-037859772."

"A scar on the woman’s lower abdomen showed she had given birth by Cesarean."

"An autopsy revealed she had been dead no more than three days when she was found." (LI Press)

I’m curious if the mother and daughter missing from Washington are linked? They were actually missing 20 years before it was reported
