Can someone please tell me what month ALV/JW are discussing now? Last I checked in, they had gotten to Aug. 2007. Any chance they reached 2008 by the end of the day?

A juror who sat through three months of testimony in the Jodi Arias murder trial was dismissed today for "misconduct" after Arias' attorneys claimed she made statements showing she was biased.

The woman, identified only as Juror 5, allegedly made statements to other jurors during a closed meeting that showed she was an impartial jury member, according to a motion filed by Kirk Nurmi, Arias' lead attorney.

You know, this is bugging me. I've been to traffic court and it was NO NONSENSE!
No Big Gulp cups, no giggling, no talking, no smirking. No one DARED disrespect the court in such a way. IMHO this judge needs to take control of her courtroom. Attorneys need to SIT UP respectfully in their chairs. NO drinks brought into courtroom. No coloring by defendant. No GIGGLING or talking. No spectators dressing like they are going to the club. Mitigation Specialist not looking like hooker. Attorneys NOT smirking constantly. All of this behavior is remarkably disrespectful to the court and to the victim's family. I am really sick of it.

My counselor always tells me I should date several people at the same time, she says that's how you figure out who you really like rather than who's convenient. I guess I should tell her that's abusive per ALV...

My boyfriend just yelled at the TV "So what it doesn't give her the right to kill!" He hates ALV so he's in the other room watching wrestling. I'm stuck with a fat orange cat watching this. Oh I called my cat fat. If he weren't male , that could be abusive.

My husband said the same. His actual words were "So it's no longer don't hate the player, hate the game. Now it's hate the player and you have permission to murder him/her."

IMO it's not a message AZ or these jurors will want to send.

She must have been a terror to her family! ! I know she hit her brother in the head with a baseball bat, so she says. Hit her mom in the past, admitted to kicking her mom, after her mom arrives in arizona to help her relocate. I also don't believe she was knocked around by her dad. Every trial uses the abuse strategy to help the accused, doesn't make it so!and especially in this case.
This girls life was spinning out of control long before she met Travis.
She Spent most of her life stalking her ex's new girlfriends, went from job to job owed everyone large amounts of money, including her parents and grandparents.
Very unstable, irresponsible, no boundaries, morals. She thought she hit pay dirt when she met Travis. She called ppl the Mormon land of opportunity! Her own words.

I see Jodi as getting up in her fathers face and him knocker her around. In to door jams, furniture, pushing her away when she kicked or hit them. I see her doing that to Travis when she wasn't getting what she wanted. That and the suicide threats. Had to be getting old.

IMO she is not helping Jodi at all.

According to HLN, Travis moved to Mesa for the strong Mormon community.

On NG their talking about Jodi having a flat on the way to Travis's funeral. Remember the charges on her bank statement? an auto repair shop? I bet that was it so she bought the plane ticket for his memorial.

But wasnt the memorial before the funeral? And the charge for tire repair before the charge for airfair? So she got a flat then took a plane to the memorial but she claimed the flat was the morning of funeral

I think our society here in the US is very forgiving when people own up. (When I say forgive someone, I don't mean absolve them of the consequences). But anyway, in this case, although she should still get LWOP, if JA would have shown remorse, contrition, taken responsibility for any of her actions, shown humility and honesty, shown respect, distanced herself from the family in their grieving, etc, so many things she could have done then maybe she wouldn't be sooooo hated and despised. SHe is relentless in her evilness.

We've made it from late Aug to early Sep, still in 2007.

So ALV rattled off the names of all the women Travis allegedly deceived - and they didn't know about each other...

So... how did ALV end up knowing about all of them?

Because JA knew about all of them... and this didn't raise a red flag with ALV? Not even once?

Oh right - she's bought it hook, line and sinker, so of course she missed this HUGE discrepancy - and a reasonable clue that JA was obsessive (snooping/stalking/texting as Travis)...

A high-school student could have given better 'expert' testimony about such high-school-ish goings on. With quite a bit more insight, imv.

Oct 6, 2007, journal entry. . . . Travis compared Jodi to Deanna. . . She says that he believes that he has to hide his relationships with her the way he had to hide them from Deanna . . . . ALV says Jodi and Travis are still having a relationship in October . . . . Jodi believes that she is not like Deanna . . . .No sign of jealousy in journal . . . . There were signs of jealously coming from Travis in journal . . . .

Oct 7, 2007, journal entry from Jodi. . . . Jodi attended a talk on motherhood and the importance of being a good wife and mother . . . This was in the forefront of her life . . . Jodi was starting to feel that she was not going to get this from Travis . . . . But she still had hope . . . . Learned hopefulness. . . . Travis reassures women when they are suspicious of his behavior . . . Shortly after they come back from the trip where they have had a really good time and bond with each other, he is confirming his relationship with another woman . . . . This is very deceptive . . . it is manipulative because it reinforces someone to believe what you say. . . . We generally believe someone is telling the truth unless we also tend to lie about things . . . .

End of October. The first incident of physical violence. There was an argument about everything, how she dresses, her friends, her jobs . . . . He grabs her by the shoulders and shakes her. . . prevents her from leaving. . . . pushes her to the floor . . . . until he calms down. . . . Lasts a couple of hours . . . . Travis called her family names . . . said Carl was a gay name . . . . To put down someone’s family is significant . . . .
