Thank you mods and @CocoChanel for all the work you do !!!

I think of Alexis and her dear mom every day and hope we hear something soon but hopefully the silence means LE is connecting the docs and getting their ducks in a row for an arrest.

I'm surprised the tox results/cod is still pending. I really thought testing would be rushed and... maybe it has and just takes longer than I imagine?

    * ETA I see others posted a possible 10 wk testing time period sans covid.

To me, this case is even more mysterious now than when it first came to light.

I think the silence means LE knows what happened but still searching for more solid evidence before making an arrest.

Have LE made any calls for assistance from the general public as to what they may have seen that night?

The death of Alexis Robinault, the social media maven whose body was found along a Houston road, has been ruled a homicide, according to the medical examiner's office.

In a statement, the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences said Robinault -- who also went by her married name Sharkey -- died by strangulation.

Strangulation. So now the question becomes is there evidence of who may have done this...do they already know or will this send them in a new direction?

That probably narrows the possibilities down.
If it's true that she had talked to her friends about the same happening on the regular.

    Speculation.

Same. Maybe now that LE have official results, they can make a quick arrest. I hope they also have some forensic evidence.

Not necessarily: Remember the Boston Strangler, Chicago has 51 cold case strangulations of women they are trying to solve, and many others murders/serial killers use this technique to kill their victims so no blood is left behind etc... Have to see evidence... MOO

Hmmm... interesting since I would have assumed there would be signs of strangulation on her body. But, maybe the person/s who found her didn't look closely enough?

Thank goodness it didn't take an additional 2-6 months for COD. Now let's hope LE has all their hard work ready and an arrest will come soon.
