On Wednesday morning, officers responded to a home in the 5900 block of Charleston Drive when the homeowner did not show up for work at the University of Texas at Dallas. Once police arrived, they found the body of Anna Moses, 43, inside the residence.

Moses's blue 2009 Hyundai Sonata was missing from her house. The vehicle was later recovered unoccupied a few blocks away from the home by Frisco patrol officers...

Detectives confirmed to NBC 5 that the homicide appears to be an isolated incident. Officers do not think robbery was a motive.

Moses was the assistant director of strategic planning and analysis at the University of Texas at Dallas. She had worked at the school since 2005, officials said...

LaPrelle did not give any details about the manner of death.

Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division along with the Texas Rangers are actively investigating the case.

According to Officer Chad LaPrelle, based on initial findings, this appears to be an isolated incident and next of kin has been notified, though police are unsure of current living arrangements.

Has been divorced 2 yrs but remained friendly with ex. The ex-husband and 20 yr old son are cooperating with LE. Le says they have "strong" leads.

A family friend said that Moses had been seeing someone but it is not yet known if investigators have spoken with him.

Police have arrested the ex-husband for the murder of University of Texas at Dallas employee Anna Moses last month.

Frisco police spokesman Bradley J. Merritt said 63-year-old Robert Moses was arrested just before 2:30 p.m. Thursday with the assistance of the Texas Rangers and U.S. Marshals...

The suspect was taken to the Frisco Police Detention Center on a charge of first degree murder on a $1,000,000 bond.

Police noticed a fresh cut on Robert Moses’ right hand above his ring finger during an interview on Jan. 15. He submitted to a voluntary DNA sample. The blood found in the car was a positive match, according to police.

The Frisco Police Department has not said how Anna Moses was killed and disclosed few details in a redacted offense report released earlier this month.

March 2015:

Several guns and magazines matching the caliber of weapon used to kill Anna were discovered in his home...

Robert refused a polygraph test and repeatedly told investigators he could not remember exactly what he was doing or where he was during the suspected time frame of when Anna was killed. Robert then refused to answer more questions and left the police department, according to the affidavit.

Investigators began conducting surveillance on Robert, who went back to his old residence at 9626 Lance Drive and loaded his vehicle with several boxes. He left and was soon pulled over for a traffic violation, as officers noticed his car was missing the front license plate, according to the affidavit.

Robert was arrested as a result of the traffic offense, and police searched his vehicle. In his trunk, officers discovered several high-capacity magazines matching the same caliber of bullet that killed Anna. These magazines were not the same ones discovered at Robert’s home during an earlier search, according to police.

Robert was then arrested and charged with first-degree murder in Anna’s death. He was taken to the Frisco jail before being transported to the Collin County Detention Center. His bond is set at $1 million.

Frisco man was indicted by a Collin County grand jury on Tuesday in connection with the fatal shooting of his ex-wife in January.

Robert Arthur Moses, 63, is charged with murder. He is being held at the Collin County jail on $1 million bail.

Hours after Anna’s body was discovered, Frisco officer William Lo located Anna’s car about a block and a half away from her house. Officer Lo immediately noticed that the driver seat had what appeared to be a small blood stain on the right side. Forensic scientists from the Texas Department of Public Safety crime lab processed the car locating an additional blood stain on the seat and a blood smear on the center console. These blood samples were processed and through DNA analysis, Robert Moses could not be excluded as a contributor of the blood found in the car. Friends and associates of Anna were ruled out as suspects based on the estimated time of death, toll road records, surveillance video and other evidence.

The jury found Robert Moses guilty of murder. After additional evidence, the jury sentenced Moses to life in prison.
