''The second cold case happened on November 6, 2016 and involves a mother and her son. At the time, officers responded to a shooting on Baxter street in Seguin. Officers found Belinda and Jeremy Sauceda dead with multiple gunshot wounds.
"We believe they are truly innocent victims," Diaz said. "They were not involved in any criminal activity."
As the years go by, he said the leads do stop. He believes someone coming forward could break the cases.
"San Antonio being so close to Sequin, a lot of people that live here have friends there and family members there, he said. "I know someone knows about these cases."
