They updated one of the stories to include this:
[FONT=&amp]“Detectives with the Houston Police Department are looking into missing persons cases in Harris, Montgomery and Liberty counties. Officials are also working with Cameron Parish Sheriff's Office in Louisiana after a woman's head was also discovered in a trash bag south of Hackberry on the shoulder of Highway 27.”

anyone know anything about that case? Maybe she’s been identified and there’s no thread for her?

I mean, it's not that uncommon for a murderer to remove a head to try to foil identification, but heads dumped beside the road in bags or backpacks seem to be rather rare.

It looks to me like the hair could be a match, but I don't see any indication of tattooed makeup. IMO, just judging from her photos on FB, it doesn't seem like that would be Katherine's style. All JMO.

Ok, back to finding the facts on this scary andsad find. It just amazes me that no ID yet. Makes it scarier not knowing. So much closure to get.

Thanks Gardener1850, I thought getting credible information for this case would come easier but I thought wrong. The family of Katrina Marie Blake shared a Houston PD missing persons report # (424321-18) and I thought i'd be able to get something from LE, confirming this case. HPD would only confirm that this IS an open and active MP case. They wouldn't even confirm Katrina's name. So the case # alone didn't lead to any media or LE link, as of now. HPD said to try back on Monday, so we'll see. If I find anything media/LE linked, i'll let you know. From what I see on social media, i'm concerned for Katrina Marie Blake so i'd like to get a thread going, if we can. I'm not good at that. Carlos always did threads for me, for many of us! :/

Thanks Carbuff! I didn't know that was enough. I can start a new thread if no one else has already. In the meantime, perhaps someone can send her info to Missing Pieces Network? They might get a flyer going for her and that gets media attention sometimes.

This story is fairly old to be a match but it looks like she is still missing and what is up with the teal trucks?? :thinking:
