What age did I put? I swear...I'd forget to breathe if it weren't natural.

Another one local to me, not much to go on in this one though.

The thoughts & opinions stated above are that, MY random thoughts & opinions.

Updated info:

Midland police said the body was found in a drainage ditch on the east side of Midland County.

About a week after Lujan's disappearance, Gonzales took to Facebook to post about how hurt he was and said, "shame on you that are pointing fingers..."

Police said Gonzales cooperated with them throughout the investigation, specifics about their relationship are unknown.

"It's fairly common if it's a domestic issue. Sometimes we have had murders or situations where it was the suspect who reported them missing or reported the actual circumstances of the incident," said Bustilloz.

RIP Kathy.

During a search of the Gonzales's vehicle, officers did a chemical test for the presence of blood. The test came back positive and it was revealed to be Lujan’s blood.

The affidavit goes on to say during the time of the investigation many co-workers came forward saying Lujan told them if anything happened to her, Gonzales did it and it would not be an accident.

The investigation shows the morning of Lujan's disappearance, she confronted Gonzales about stolen money and forged checks. The document says Lujan then told Gonzales she was going to report him to the police.

Financial records show Gonzales started withdrawing money from the ATM starting the last day Lujan was seen and continued until both of their accounts were empty.

During the trial, the defendant testified to a different version of events and admitted to killing Lujan. Based on his testimony, the defendant requested that the jury consider whether or not he acted under the sudden heat of passion when he caused Lujan’s death.

The jury determined that Gonzales did not kill Lujan in sudden heat of passion and assessed his punishment at life in prison and a fine of $10,000.
