TX TX - Lisa Stone, 51, Dallas, 4 June 2010

Lisa's birthday is 9/3 and her FB friends are trying a private investigator. What a shame that LE can't or won't do more.

I said that from the beging after LE dismissed her case the first time. It wasn't until after friends badgered and insisted that they reopened it... Did another simple search IMO... Removed the cats and dogs... No mention of cadaver dog searches or even retrieved vehicles IIRC. They didn't want Tim Miller involved nor any billboards erected for fear it would cause too many false leads! Heck sometimes leads are all you have in a case like this. Her brother is ex-LE and when they started refusing all the other outside help and offers my hinky meter really started rising. Sorry but I got real frustrated with this case real quick. All IMO.

Friends Remember Missing Dallas Woman Lisa Stone On Her Birthday

today a billboard went up at the intersection of LBJ Freeway and Northwest Highway with Stone's photo and information on the $10,000 reward for information regarding her disappearance. The billboard was paid for with donations collected by Stone's friends from the Mesquite High School Class of '77, who have lobbied relentlessly for answers to her disappearance over the past several weeks,

So far, no arrests have been made, though police told me yesterday they are pursuing several leads and awaiting forensic test results.

This is my first post!

When I saw this story http://www.wfaa.com/news/local/More-human-remains-found-in-plastic-bag-at-Lake-Ray-Hubbard-102295319.html I counld not help but think about the Lisa Stone story. I sure hope they are not related, but the area of the found remains is not that far from her home.

:Welcome-12-june:

Thanks for bringing that up. On the find Lisa FB page, some of her friends went out there and the captain told them it was definitely not Lisa.

Bumping for Lisa. According to her FB page another vigil planned this weekend to be held in front of the billboard her friends had erected.

Lisa Stone turned to Facebook to reunite with her high school girlfriends; they turned to Facebook to solve the mystery of her disappearance.

The flirtatious waiter drops off the first round of Bloody Marys at the table of Mesquite High School alums, Class of '77, gathered at the Buffalo Wild Wings over by Town East Mall for a girls night out. The Cowboys game against the Miami Dolphins is about to begin, but so far the game crowd can't compete with the boisterous chatter emanating from the women.

Gosh, I wonder what happened to Lisa? :( If NOTHING else, the partner should have given Lisa's belongings to her family and friends, and not allegedly thrown them in a dumpster.
