Mesquite mom still missing four months later, police have few leads

Her case is still active and according to the police there's no evidence of a criminal act.

New information: A private investigator for the family confirmed that a witness saw Prisma crying in the parking lot of the Olympus building on the day she went missing and approached her, but Prisma told them to leave her alone.

On April 17, the 26-year-old left work at a Northeast Dallas used car lot for lunch. She went to meet an acquaintance at E-Bar Tex-Mex on Haskell in East Dallas.

“She was actually having lunch with an ex,” Det. Barrett said. “But they left separately.”

Reyes remained at the restaurant for about three hours.

“The bartender did stop serving her, and there was a just a slight disturbance in that regard. They asked her to leave, so she left,” Barrett said. “Down the street here on Haskell, she was in a road rage incident with another driver. 911 was called. Dallas PD came out and checked, but she had already left the location.”

Investigators believe Reyes drove to I-30 and then turned back around and went to the Olympus at Ross apartments.

Reyes’ Jeep was blocking the intersection near the apartment gate at Roseland and Johnson as if her visit would be a quick stop-n-go.

“She runs across the street when a vehicle is coming in and goes through the gate there and stops. There’s an elevator right on the other side of here,” Barrett said. “She gets on the elevator. We've talked to the person that she got on the elevator with. He got off on a floor lower than hers. And that’s the last time anybody saw her on the elevator.”

She had lunch with an ex-boyfriend at the E Bar Tex Mex restaurant located on North Haskell Avenue.

Police say the man left but Reyes stayed at the restaurant for a considerable amount of time drinking.

There was some sort of verbal disturbance and she was asked to leave the premises," said Biggs.

Biggs cannot say whether Reyes was intoxicated when she left but confirms the bartender stopped serving her drinks.

Reyes was then involved in a verbal road rage incident with a driver nearby.

New Video Released of Mesquite Mother Missing for Over 4 Months

Police say Reyes entered the elevator and was seen crying by a resident who got off on the second floor while she remained inside.

It is not known what floor Reyes had intended to go to, said police.

Police revealed that Reyes' ex-boyfriend was not at home when she arrived. Detectives have reportedly confirmed he was in another city with friends.

Missing Mesquite mom was involved in road rage incident before she disappeared, police say

Surveillance footage shows Reyes' Jeep Wrangler pulling out of the E Bar parking lot and turning right onto Haskell.

From there, detectives tracked her phone driving south down Haskell Avenue.

Then near Haskell Avenue and Main Street, investigators say, Reyes was involved in a road rage incident with another car.

A Dallas police report says three witnesses in another vehicle said a woman pointed a gun at them in the 100 block of N. Haskell Avenue just after 5 p.m.

Family worried foul play involved in disappearance of daughter Prisma Reyes after she failed to pick up son from school in April

Prisma Denisse Peralta Reyes, 26, who lives in Mesquite, Texas, has not been seen since April 17, 2019. She was reported missing after she did not pick up her six-year-old son from the babysitter’s house in Old East Dallas that evening.

Lieutenant Stephen Biggs with the Mesquite Police Department said they've interviewed hundreds of people in the case, but are still at a loss as to what happened to Prisma.

Prisma left her job at a car dealership for lunch on April 17 and never returned. She was spotted having lunch with an ex-boyfriend at the E Bar Tex Mex restaurant located on North Haskell Avenue. The man left, but police said Prisma stayed at the restaurant and continued drinking until police said she was asked to leave. Security video later showed her running into the garage of the Olympus at Ross apartments along Ross Avenue where her ex-boyfriend lives, but police learned he was not there at the time.

Police said there is nothing that indicates foul play at this time, but they are concerned that no one has heard from Prisma in months. Prisma is described as 5’2” and weighs around 135 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.
