......A 3 yr old child with developmental delays and limited communication skills last seen outside in the backyard at 3 am and not brought inside???? Back to sitting on my hands about this situation.

Got this alert on my work scanner earlier. Call me confused but wouldn't wandering off be more likely? Saying she was abducted but not sure from where? Do they have a who in mind? Lots of questions...

This!!! What is the public suppose to be looking for besides a tiny child that could be hidden anywhere. Was she taken by vehicle, someone walking by the "outside" of the backyard? Did Dad see someone that had taken her from the home as they ran from the backyard? We know nothing but are suppose to be looking for her...how?!!!

Oh this hurts. Richardson is one of my old stomping grounds. Sweet baby, be safe...

Their house backs up to the DART rail line (right across the back alley) and is only 5 minutes away from the closest substation at Spring Valley Rd. Nice enough residential neighborhood; at least three pools but those have fences. But the area south or west of this neighborhood is not as safe. Hoping they find her fast.

This article has a map for those wanting to see one. It also states that "Sherin Mathews was last seen by her father outside the family’s backyard in the 900 blk. of Sunningdale."(The backyard is completely fenced).

ETA:

"Outside the family's backyard" is alley on 2 sides. I'm wondering if her father saw her abducted via car?

Maybe the disability qualifies her for the AA? I'm not sure how all of that works.

Mathews was most recently seen wearing a pink best, dark pajama bottoms and pink flip-flops.

IMO...(flip flops is new info).

Makes me think there was a gathering , cookout or something and many folks were coming and going in the yard. Surely they've located everyone who was there but no suspect description is bothering me.
