Dental records were needed as no skin or facial features left.
Could not perform internal autopsy as no organs left.
Could not determine how she died.
Photos were taken.
Autopsy photos shown to the jury.
MD says that she has never run across a case of a child choking and dying on milk. Her colleagues also.
Explains rigor mortis. Takes hours, and it will be face/jaw first. Over time, it will involve legs & arms. Peaks at 12 hours.
Coldness of the body takes awhile, at room temp it will very slowly cool.
Most of Sherin's bones were present and intact. Some were not attached anymore. The rib was calloused, from an old fracture.
Manner of death ruled as homicide due to circumstances around the case & the state of decomp and the report of choking on milk (this does not happen).
Defence questions now.
Rigor starts in jaw first different in kids/adults. It would take at least 2 hours to begin though,
Can aspirate milk and go into9 lungs but this would take days to kill them.
WM going up on stand now. Jury is out I think?
Church friend of WM up as witness.
Said Sherin was tiny. Sherin loved the "joy joy" song.
Said how she bloomed, was blossoming and interacting after a while.
Saw photos on the walls, not sure who they were of.
Another church member up now.
Knew of Sherin's feeding issues.

WMs older brother on the stand now.
"I know I wanted do something honorable, do something nice," Mathews told police of wrapping Sherin's body in a garbage bag before stowing her in the cargo area of his car.
It is like what Derion Vence allegedly said about Maleah "nothing bad happened to her", ...., or she didn't suffer or something like that
