[h=1]North Texas Woman's Disappearance Remains Unsolved as Ex-Boyfriend Sits in Jail for Her Kidnapping[/h]
Revill sits in the Tarrant County Jail on a charge of aggravated kidnapping with the intent to kill, according to his indictment. He claims he's innocent. He told Johnson's brother that she'd gone with someone to fix her car when he went to the apartment to grab a few of her things.
He told a similar story to police in January 2006 when another ex-girlfriend, Taalibah Islam, went missing. She still hasn't been found.

BBM, reminds me of Kylr Yust...

Food for thought.
''Officers were called to 6425 Evonshire, just north of Interstate 20 and west of Loop 820, at about 5 p.m. Sunday by construction workers who found skeletal remains while working at the vacant home.''

Thanks for posting, that's one to watch for sure. I'm not sure if Revill had enough time to get there to hide her, go to his parents house and then back to the apt where he was arrested, but it is close enough, maybe he could have. Here is a map with first address of apt where he kidnapped Typhenie, second address is where skeletal remains were found and third address the park they were searching (near his parents house where they found her clothes in the back yard): https://www.google.com/maps/dir/Tri...69a1fd73c4c!2m2!1d-97.195865!2d32.7478662!3e0

It's 32 miles or almost 40 minutes of driving just for that and he had to drive back to the apartment after he went to his parents house to try to hide her clothes. There is also his former girlfriend Taalibah missing since 2006. I think this location is closer to her apartment.

Any updates on this case? I just listened to the episode on The Vanished Podcast.

Discovery of Christina Morris Puts Another High Profile Missing Person's Case Back in Spotlight

The discovery of Christina Morris’ remains last week is putting another high-profile missing persons case back in the spotlight.

Typhenie Johnson vanished in Fort Worth more than a year ago.

Like the Morris case, a man is charged with kidnapping Johnson.

However, Johnson’s body has yet to be found.

Johnson’s family released a statement to NBC 5 tonight saying in part:

“It is hard not knowing her whereabouts every single day. Typhenie is our life. Without her our hearts are not whole.”

Tonight, there is hope that this grieving family may soon get some answers.
Anytime news gets out of human remains being found in North Texas, Art Sahlstein goes straight for his maps.

“I was called immediately after the rumors got out,” he said.

Sahlstein has been searching for Johnson for more than a year now.
“The primary search area will be 10 minutes any direction from Sandy Lake Park or I-30 and Cooks Lane,” he said pointing the areas on a map. “I’m thoroughly convinced she’ll be there, she’ll be within that area.”

Sahlstein is mapping out his next search but will not go into detail about new leads that are taking him back to the area.

“We’re also going to be revisiting some of the land that we searched initially and we had planned on doing this, not just because of the Christina Morris, but there is also a possibility that we may have missed something and it never hurts to go back,” said Sahlstein. “I will continue no matter what.”
Sahlstein is in need of volunteers for a search he is planning for Saturday, March 17. Click here for more information.

More than a year after her disappearance, the search for a missing Fort Worth woman resumes

FORT WORTH More than a year and a half after the disappearance of 25-year-old Typhenie Johnson, her friends are holding a search party on Sunday to look for her in Fort Worth.

Johnson was last seen leaving her apartment complex in far east Fort Worth near Euless in October 2016.
Johnson's aunt, Janelle Hofeldt, 48, posted a Facebook event that the party plans to search in the area of 1401 Cooks Lane in Fort Worth from 9 a.m to 2 p.m. Sunday. Hofeldt said that is near the area where Johnson's ex-boyfriend, Christopher Revill, 34, lived at the time of her disappearance.
They are asking that anyone who plans to come out and help in the search to be 18 or older, to bring boots, a hat, a charged phone, walking sticks, plenty of water and identification.

While volunteer search crews have spent weekends each of those 27 months looking for Johnson, Strub says there remains few leads. They have narrowed the search to wooded areas near I-30 and Cooks Lane.

Typhenie Johnson's one-time boyfriend, Chris Revill, remains jailed on a kidnapping charge. The case against Revill recently came under scrutiny, when his defense attorneys filed a motion to dismiss it because of "prosecutorial misconduct." They allege a prosecutor with the Tarrant County District Attorney's Office hid results of DNA tests that are favorable for Revill.

A hearing on the dismissal is set for later this month.

BROOKLYN, Iowa (KWWL) — A movement in Mollie Tibbetts name wants to spread awareness on missing person cases that don’t get enough attention and to give a voice to those that don’t have one.

The focus for the second day of testimony was dozens of photographs, along with physical items collected from the area where Johnson was last seen three years ago.

The state says her phone and a sock resembling Johnson’s were located in a grassy area outside her apartment where she was having a conversation with her ex-boyfriend, Christopher Revill.

Earlier testimony indicated Revill stopped by unexpectedly the same evening Johnson had invited a new friend over for dinner.

Accused kidnapper was more concerned about himself than missing woman, detective said

Revill seemed more concerned about what would happen to him and what police would do with his car than he was about Johnson during his interview, Fort Worth Det. Pat Henz testified on Friday.

“There are certain things that you pay attention to,” Henz told the jury. “He called her ‘that girl’ and showed no concern for her. It was always what about me and what about my car. Never anything about her.”

Revill was inconsistent with his answers concerning whether another man in the apartment, Russell Brown, was a mechanic who was there to work on Johnson’s vehicle, or her new male friend, Henz testified.

Revill also did not answer questions that might have helped police establish a timeline of events, Henz said.

Johnson’s roommate and her twin brother, Asher Johnson, testified Wednesday that they found Typhenie Johnson’s keys, her phone and a sock that was believed to be hers in the apartment complex parking lot before police were called about her disappearance.

Asher Johnson told the jury that Revill was always asking questions about his sister, and that he was jealous and controlling. Asher Johnson testified that Revill seemed distressed after seeing Brown.

Jurors see physical evidence in trial for missing Fort Worth woman Typhenie Johnson

Although Friday was the third day of testimony, it was the first time Typhenie Johnson’s mother attended the proceedings.

The suspect, 35-year-old Christopher Revill, has listened to testimony without any noticeable reaction throughout the trial.

Prosecutors began with a Fort Worth detective who recalled questioning the defendant the night Johnson disappeared. She was last seen on Oct. 10, 2016 having a conversation with Revill outside her apartment.

Det. Pat Henz described his interaction with Revill soon after Johnson vanished. Revill had been summoned back to the apartment to talk to police, who were trying to find Johnson.

"He mentioned that he loved her. That they were in this relationship but at that moment he said, 'that girl,' referring to her as, 'that girl' and the rest of the entire interview never used Typhenie's name. Never called her by name, never said anything other than she or if I said Typhenie,” Det. Henz said.

Other testimony involved items found at the home of Revill's parents on the day after Johnson’s disappearance. The items included a white top, a bra with the clasp closure stretched out straight and a broken FitBit watch.
