I cannot believe/ do not believe that the person that harmed CL would be so stupid as to come on here or any other cl website !
I believe that many come on here and other sites because they have SUSPICIONS about people they know.

He realised that she had many relationships and I'm sure he would have preferred her to be settled down with family like Ali her sister, but he loved her so much all of the same and why shouldn't he?

What is with HIS reputation and he being in the company of many clients/men, who like to whisper/joke about their escorts and other "sex objects"/attractive young women? Not an easy life for him since a long time, I imagine.

Hi, following quietly. Have you guys seen the recent discussions on the Claudia Lawrence Missing fb page? Both JK and SC responded strongly to a commentator on there. Gosh I wish there was a development soon in this case. So sad it has not been solved and closure found.

About Joan Lawrence....I saw a clip of her on a tv programme recently ...can't remember which one...and thought how there is definitely a feisty side to her which I suspect her daughter inherited. She obviously has been devastated by what is a kind of bereavement and as we know, this affects people differently: see article below about her post-Claudia hair loss. But she didn't get to be deputy mayor of Malton by being a shrinking violet. She is a woman with opinions and I wish she had the strength to channel that feisty side into moving this case forward. I wonder if Joan has ever employed a private detective for example?

My guess would be the police.And one can understand if undercover work is going on.

I believe they would be interested in knowing what was being said without necessarily contributing as that would leave a digital trail. This is probably the liveliest CL discussion forum with mostly intelligent, considerate contributions bring made without descending into insults or Big Brother 'thought police' type controls seen elsewhere.

According to this article = yes.
In one study involving four dogs and their handlers, Jacobi says the dogs were able to detect remains at all stages of decomposition. Performance varied between dogs, but some could locate skeletonised remains buried in an area of 300ft by 150ft. "The few single human vertebrae I used in the study were well over 25 years old, and dry bone," Jacobi says. "This made the discovery of one of these vertebrae, which we buried in dense woods 2ft deep, by a cadaver dog pretty remarkable."
