I'm wondering if she was being stalked somehow. The whole 'too good to be true' offer... The persuasion to keep the deal off the books rather than through Airbnb... It all seems very creepy, premeditated, and meticulous. Targeted.

Definitely targeted. I wonder if they can trace her contact with the person through any of the apps.

They've obviously got some kind of records, to know about the way she was lured... Maybe through Airbnb they can link the account of the perpetrator to a credit card and identity?
