There seems to have been quite a few disappearances or murders of teenage boys in London in the eighties. There was Jason swift, Kevin hicks, and a boy disappeared somewhere on the district line in 1979. Only Jason swift was found, and no reason for the others to run away.

Three men have been arrested for the murder of 15 year old Lee Boxell, who disappeared in Sutton 26 years ago, Sept 10th, 1988. Police orginally thought Lee, of Cheam, South London, was heading to a football match at Selhurst Park. Only the ages of the arrested men have been provided and the two eldest face the same charges of: murder, conspiracy to pervert the course of justice, and indecency with children. They are aged 78, 52 and 41. The 41 yr old's charges are murder and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice. A 42 yr old woman's been arrested on conspiracy to pervert the course of justice and indecency with children.

It was eventually discovered Lee may have gone to 'the shed', an outbuilding at St Dunstan's Church where teens gathered and where, unknown at the time, a paedophile ring was preying on the teens. William Lambert, a gravedigger there, was jailed in 2011, (aged 75) for 11 years, for sexually abusing four girls who attended the club. Police excavated part of the graveyard in 2012, but nothing was found.

Lee's parents, Peter and Christine, have kept his bedroom exactly as it was the day he went missing. They say: "We still haven't begun the grieving process".

In February 2013, a Crimewatch (TV reconstruction show) appeal went out for any information about Lee. Lee was 5'6", slim build, with light brown hair and wearing black jeans, brown suede shoes and a Flintstones T shirt when he went missing.

Just speculating, but that gravedigger would now be 78, wouldn't he?

Ive always felt that Lee Boxells disappearance and Kevin Hicks disappearance was linked in some way. I wonder if the police have ever looked into the similarities in both cases.

Can anyone remember the murder of Bulic Forsyth?... Ive posted this one several of the missing posts from London as there is potential relevance.

From memory Forsyth worked for Lambeth Council in 1993 and confided in a work colleague he was about to reveal something but about VIP paedophiles operating In Lambeth and using council premises.

Two days later he was murdered and his house set alight. No one was ever arrested let alone prosecuted.

With people missing like Martin Allen, Lee Boxall, Kevin Hicks (police today believe he was murdered) and countless other 'missing children', it makes me wonder if there is more than meets the eye with these disappearances. I mean children, seemingly going about there day to say life suddenly vanishing more often than not with little evidence.

    Thoughts appreciated...
