"Relowicz was charged with 13 offences and, in August 2019, pleaded guilty to nine of those charges - including voyeurism, outraging public decency and burglary - and was sentenced to eight-and-a-half years in jail with an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order.

It can now be reported for the first time that his sentence was reduced to five years and eight months at the Court of Appeal in March last year."

Firstly, sigh.

Secondly, doesn't matter much now, does it?! Ha! Pathetic little monster. Hope he enjoyed his reduced sentence while it lasted.

I couldn’t believe it myself when I just read that. Just makes me hope even more that the vile creature receives a long long sentence tomorrow.

I am so pleased with this verdict! I was one of the ones who wasn’t sure there was enough definitive proof for a guilty of murder so was leaning towards manslaughter.. we probably haven’t seen and heard everything the jury did and even just being in the same room as him, seeing his reactions, mannerisms etc, something thankfully none of us will have to do!
Well done to the jury for what must have been a very harrowing case to sit on and love to Libby and her family.. now let’s all hope he gets the longest term possible as he deserves nothing less...
Same. This is the beauty of the Jury system. The verdict is the result of a majority consensus. PR is guilty of murder. It has been a privilege to be able to read everyone's comments and opinions so thank you all. So pleased this is now over and Libby's family can find some peace.

Please accept our thoughts and love. Nothing can bring back your beautiful talented girl, I know. I am so so sorry. My eyes are filled with tears. But I feel I need to tell you The strength you have shown has been out of this earth. How dignified and stoic and courageous you have been. I admire you.

Speaking outside court, Mrs Squire thanked supporters but said Relowicz's conviction "changes nothing for us, there is no closure".

"Libby will always be with us," she added.

Fly high Libby

I understand their words.
Libby was their daughter.
I can't imagine how any parent could ever come to terms with losing a child under any circumstances.

To have had his sentence reduced is beyond belief ,his poor victims have not had their nightmares reduced . What a terrible injustice to all the women he has mentally scarred for life.
I hope the Judge is equally disgusted and makes up for it in the sentence she gives tomorrow.

Yes they defend their investigations. I am sorry but if allegations about such sexual deviancy were taken seriously, fingerprints were taken and the efits were acted upon, this beautiful, talented, full of life girl might still have been with us here on this earth.

Sorry for the rant - it is not the best time to do this. Please report my post if it is not appropriate. My feelings are so mixed at the moment

This is the problem though, they aren't free to dish out the sentences they might like to. That's why he's managed to get that other sentence reduced. At least life is the mandatory sentence this time, but she will be constrained by the guidelines when she decides the time-before-parole part.

What is likely to happen if he does appeal? I think he did it, but I don’t know he did it. It’s very much based on his constant lying and criminal history to be fair and I just wonder how that will work in the event of an appeal?

As everyone knows, I did not believe that the evidence we had seen proved him guilty at all, however, I am a big believer in the justice system being fair and feel very thankful for those jurors who clearly spent a long time diligently thinking this through. If they had have come out with Guilty after 2 hours deliberation I would have been up in arms but the time they have spent makes me trust their decision is the right one and justice is being served.

Sending much love to Libby's family and friends and hope that they may now start to look towards the future. Also appreciating the sorrow PRs family must be feeling with the knowledge of what their son did.

This is my first time on this forum and my thanks to you all for the inciteful posts and the sharing of information. It's been an experience. Best of luck to you all.

Well, perhaps we should start a campaign for Libby's law whereby sexual predators are fully investigated by the police and appropriate lengthy sentences are given.

Justice for Libby and her loved ones. A small piece of it, anyway. I'm glad this monster can't hurt anyone else. How have her parents made it through with so much strength and dignity? Staggering.

It won't ease their loss, but I hope they won't have to think about PR and his miserable existence anymore.

I did always wonder that the sentence was higher than usual..and often wondered if the judge had libby in mind at the time ..also at that time it wasn't clear if he would definitely be charged I dont think?

Anyone heard from @Newthoughts

Hope she hasn’t passed out from the relief / excitement!!

An excellent outcome for all regardless of any points any of us have made during the trial process!!

The best justice Libby’s family could legally have gotten!
I'm here! Was working and then couldn't bear to look but somebody kindly told me.

I'm just so relieved for her parents. Nothing will make up for everything he's taken. But at least they've got justice for her

RIP Libby

The police can have fingerprints and DNA, but unless an offender's details are already in their database, all they can do is a comparison that ties the offences together, but not identify the perpetrator.

The efit could have been any number of people in the area.
