For me it's not about doubting murder it's about not making any presumptions (no matter how likely) until I hear the evidence myself

As time as gone on and we have heard about past convictions and now we have a charge from the CPS ..which does sway me towards murder now.

Before the charge ..for me anyway I wasn't going to presume he had escalated or planned this without the evidence..I cant presume anything no matter how likely

I'm not 100% sure how manslaughter would pan out now .. but I think if he gives a partial confession of her death but gives a different version of events ..such as she got away from him and ran in the water the prosecution would have to prove that didn't happen

Following this case & this thread. Followed since the very beginning - I was one of the few people who didn’t think PR was guilty. Looking back now, I’m not sure why I ever felt that way. This is a harrowing case that has gripped the hearts of the nation. I had my suspicions from day one that Libby would be found in the water, however I didn’t think foulplay was involved until now.

Looking forward to seeing the details of the case as they emerge.

We are/were of a similar mind, then! I just didn't seen how he could have gone from pervy things to murder. I am obviously wrong. Interested to hear now how he will plead. Obviously guilty is the best option and spares her family a trial, but at the same time, in that case we don't get all the bare facts as a trial brings up.

For me I just don't feel that he went out with the intent to kill that night and ultimately that's what will need to be proved. I think he went out to flash/masturbate and saw an oppertunity and took it.
I think Rape will be based on the fact she was inebriated and he will say she agreed, then say she panicked and he killed her by accident.

If he is guilty of any of the above, I hope they can convince a jury beyond reasonable doubt.

There's someone on a SM page claiming she has vital evidence that is not being listened to.
I obviously cannot link it here but for once I hope she's just a village crazy and they genuinely have got their man.
