A DESPERATE manhunt is underway today after four people were randomly stabbed in the back during a 14-hour window.

Each victim was on their own when they were attacked from behind without warning in a quarter-of-a-mile radius in North London.

Cops have today issued a chilling warning to the public and urged locals to "stay vigilant" following the series of stabbings in the Edmonton area.

The lone knifeman is described as a tall, skinny black man who is wearing a hood and dark clothing.

He first struck at 7pm last night when he stabbed a 45-year-old woman in the back and she is currently fighting for her life.

 

I hope they find him soon. Stating the obvious but I think this must be someone with mental health issues.

 

It's more likely he's just plain old evil than that he is mentally ill
