The last piece of CCTV shown is at the Nursling B&Q store at 8.12pm later that day.

The prosecution witness, police investigator Stephen Dicker who has been commenting on the CCTV footage, says it shows Nicholson in the store.

Mr Dicker adds that he understands Nicholson is accompanied by his brother in the B&Q footage.

Haven't heard what his defence is going to be I don't think. Someone else? Met her but then someone else came along and murdered her?

Just adding in the last bits for today

The last witness for the morning session is PC Katherine Barry, of the police’s major crime team.
She said police visited 284 'premises' to obtain CCTV footage, 211 of those had CCTV.
She added there was more than 11,000 hours of footage for police to comb through.

However, defence barrister James Newton-Price QC highlighted a discrepancy in the number of premises which had CCTV, and the number of points on a map showing the location of the CCTV.

    In what sense?

That Lucy had written the note or that the note had survived the wash?

    10:34am
Stephen Nicholson enters the dock. The Honourable Mrs Justice May DBE enters the court, followed by the 12 jury members.

    10:36am
Today's hearing will start with information about mobile phone data, relating to Nicholson's phone.

    10:37am
Prosecutor William Mousley QC begins by calling an intelligence analyst from Hampshire Constabulary.

    10:40am
She explains that the GPS data she received included latitude and longitude data, along with the time.

The jury looks at maps produced by the analyst which plots Nicholson's movement from Mansel Road East in a north-west direction on the day of Lucy's death, on July 25.

At 8.55am Nicholson's phone data shows the device is in the vicinity of Dunkirk Road. The phone data shows movement to Tesco Express in Coxford Road, where Nicholson is seen on CCTV purchasing items from the shop

Between 09.07am and 10.50am, the map shows Nicholson's phone is located in the vicinity of his friend's home in Dunkirk Road.

The analyst tells the court that after that point, GPS data shows the phone moving away from the area, down Coxford Road.

The court hears how Nicholson is seen on CCTV on Bindon Road, around 11.12am.

Mr Mousley asks the analyst how accurate the data is.
She explains that the software pins the latitude and longitude data to the latitude and longitude grid.

Mr Mousley asks, "In other words, the pin should be right on the spot?". She replies, "yes".

The court hears Nicholson's phone data shows the device in the area of Tanners Brook, around 11.14am.
Mr Mousley refers back to his opening. He says this is where clothes with blood matching Lucy's DNA, were found by police.

The analyst adds that phone data shows Nicholson's device moves along Redbridge Hill and back to the Mansel Road area.

The court hears that later on in the day, Nicholson's phone data shows him at B&Q - where he is also seen on CCTV.

Mr Mousley asks the court to look at data from the previous day (July 24).

The court hears Nicholson's phone data shows him at his friend's address on Dunkirk Road between 1.35pm and 1.53pm.

The jury is shown a map of Nicholson's GPS data, showing a route between the address and the Mansel Road area. One of the roads show on the data is Wimpson Lane.
