Police Scotland Highland & Islands are seeking the public’s assistance in trying to locate a man missing from Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis.
Mark Elston was last seen on the morning of Tuesday 12 September, 2023 when he left Kenneth Street in Stornoway. He was driving a blue Volvo C70 convertible car. Around 2pm on Wednesday, 13 September, Mark contacted one of his friends and arranged to meet up.
Mark failed to return home and there has been no contact from him since.
Mark is around 6 ft. tall, of medium build, with long dark hair and a beard. He has blue eyes, a scar on his lip and normally wears black trousers and a black jacket. He often wears a leather pendant necklace.
Enquiries carried out so far have revealed he may have travelled to the Butt of Lewis.
