Courts are always soft with teenager criminals, especially in Europe....

I think it does matter , if the police vehicle actually killed him I can’t see how they can be charged with his death ? ‘after being dragged under a vehicle and possibly hit by a police car.’

If they pushed him in the car's path, surely it's their fault? And it sounds like he was run over by their vehicle first.

The stones and flowers are gone now, but the memorial is still there.

The 17-year-old also pleaded not guilty to conspiracy to steal a quad bike.

Another 17-year-old boy has previously entered not guilty pleas to manslaughter and conspiracy to steal.

A fourth defendant, Thomas King, 21, from Basingstoke, had admitted conspiracy to steal a quad bike. The three teenagers are due to face a six-week trial at the Old Bailey from 9 March.

PC Harper’s widow picked up a posthumous bravery award for him at an investiture service at Buckingham Palace last month. I was there as a family member was getting an OBE.

Lissie was so very brave to make it through the ceremony. It was really moving, her sadness was palpable.

The 17 yos have now turned 18 and been named: Jessie Cole and Albert Bowers.
