Quite the contrary,
One neighbour had cigarette meetings and chatted with him.
He sheepishly apologized for the noise to her.

Another neighbour said that she saw him playing with children during weekends.

His taxi colleagues remembered him as a nice joking man.

Neighbours' testimonies showed B as an unhinged screaming and "effing" hag.

Only now the real picture emerges.

I’m replying to myself now, but I’m REALLY hoping he loses his temper with Caroline Carberry during her cross examination because that would be very enlightening to the court room about his real character

I’m hoping she pushes his buttons enough that he does though - I can imagine he’s struggling really hard to suppress his rage and keep it beneath the surface and I’m hoping he becomes unable to control it and loses it with her.

It was really interesting to hear
he promised GP doctor to attend anger management classes
(but, of course, he didn't).
I'm so glad B's Defence KC unearthed this.

I'm not sure justice for Sara is on her agenda. Her agenda is to try and secure an acquittal for her client. The reason she's trying to destroy Urfan is to try and convince the jury to find Batool not guilty. We need to remember that.

I don't believe he can have been regarded in that entirely positive way. And yet they let it happen. I'd like to know how many times he had been reported to the police before he made his citizenship application.
His interactions with authorities here were so many and so negative that it is astounding that Social Services closed the file on Sara after she had been referred to them by her school, even more astounding than appeared previously given their own previous involvement.

I know. They should have been able to see previous complaints against him. I'm wondering if the systems are rubbish and they couldn't actually see the previous complaints. If so, computer records need to be improved.

Imo urfan was very careful in maintaining an outward appearance of being a friendly and polite man another trait of his controlling nature . Textbook behaviour of members of all sexes who want the abused partner to seem mad ,unstable and liars .
The general view he wanted people to see is 'sure how could he be doing what the women claim when he is so so nice

Yes, his polite facade. Must have driven Beinash nuts. The way SS noted Sara flinching and being surprised at his showy cuddle during their visit when she was younger. The fakery. I bet she resented those cruel arms.

Urfan is seething underneath the veneer it's just he is so used to controlling that side of himself in front of others so will be very careful not to allow the mask to slip imo that's why he is answering with short yes ma'am ,no ma,am .

I would love if urfan exploded like Jack nickelson in a few good men when Tom cruise's character keeps probing and Jack's character after maintaining great composure becomes enraged and shouts "you can't handle the truth " and reveals to the court his true nature . Brilliant scene. I don't know if youtube links are accepted by WS but it's easily looked up

Absolutely horrible. IMO, doing what they did, with the intention of prolonging her suffering, is even more evil than intentionally killing her.

Maybe, although from what I have read he is allegedly used to getting his way by bullying, abusing and controlling women and he can't do that with CC, so I think if he loses his temper with anyone it will be with her.

Despite having the legal right to have contacts with her own children,
Olga was denied it by an ex husband and his new wife.

Sometimes
media report cases where violent coulpes fight for children.

Usually
such cases are based on a long-term and strong conflict
between parents/former partners,
and the limitation of contacts results directly from this.

And the victims are children
robbed of their right to contact with both parents.
