    He didn't change his clothes

The court heard how the morning after murdering Sarah, Mr Couzens went into a Costa Coffee in Biggin Street, Dover, where he bought a hot chocolate with coconut milk and a Bakewell Tart, while still wearing the same clothing as the previous evening.

Wayne Couzens took kids to woods where he left Sarah Everard's burned body

You might have to rewind or forward-wind, but this radio interview starts at approx 10:15 minutes (or shortly after) and is an interview with Assistant Chief Constable of Sussex Police Jane Dando who mentions, amongst other things about this case, Flashing/indecent exposure has been extensively reviewed in last 2 weeks, and they've learnt a lot more about what that crime is going forward, how they are going to manage it and taking note whether they've had repeat calls about it.

Radio Sussex - Listen Live - BBC Sounds

I knew they didn't really follow up flashing incidents or make a picture of it but I personally thought this was due to lack of Police time/resources/incompetence - I had no idea they had no official process in place to plot these things in the first place!! I'm shocked to the core. Women like Sarah and Libby Squire (the case where it was all about repeated indecent exposure in one area that ended up escalating, as they tend to do to more sexual crimes and murder) and all the others have been let down.

I got into a bit of an argument on another forum that was heavy with men, about flashing, when the TV personality was caught masturbating on a zoom meeting. The men thought it was no big deal and that he thought he was off air. HE was in the middle of a meeting and had spoken just moments before. I came in for some abuse and was called a prude and I was what was wrong with the world and I was why men rape, because of being outraged at a normal activity.
    I was gobsmacked.

Prison Service will 'have a hard time' protecting Wayne Couzens | Daily Mail Online

The Prison Service will 'have a hard time' protecting Sarah Everard's killer Wayne Couzens who will soon wish he had been hanged instead, it was claimed today.

Couzens will die behind bars after he was sentenced yesterday for kidnapping, raping and murdering the marketing executive from South London in March.

Insiders said 'every prisoner in the country is going to want to a pop at' Couzens, who has initially been sent to HMP Belmarsh in Thamesmead, South East London.

He will undergo an assessment at the Category A jail before joining the 'dispersal system' of five top-security jails from which inmates are moved without warning.

These are Frankland in County Durham, Full Sutton in North Yorkshire, Long Lartin in Worcestershire, Wakefield in West Yorkshire and Whitemoor in Cambridgeshire.

He'll be the most "prized" prisoner in the system, quite possibly ever once word gets about

In 2019 after the rape and murder of a student by someone with a history of flashing I heard a representative of the police promising to treat this crime far more seriously and urging women to report it!

This morning I experienced Deja Vu as yet another police representative promised to treat this crime more seriously and urging women to come forward after the rape and murder of yet another young woman by a man with a history of flashing

Both of those murdering, raping pieces of scum could have been caught had the crime been treated seriously. Neither were treated seriously because it isn't taken seriously.

How long does it take to realise it's not a joke it's a dangerous mind set

Unlikely, it is likely it is like the ones the Cricketers were caught doing several years back & various groups of college guys here & in the US-they have these little forums/chat apps where they rate women, talk about how much they would 'like to rape' certain women, generally denigrate women etc.

From the previous thread where somebody was pushing for extreme porn legislation-it was done as a knee-jerk, vote winning thing after the Jane Longhurst case after he mother lobbied endlessly & turned out to be a badly thought out total disaster-with all kinds of things most broad minded adults would consider pretty tame fare potentially turning people into criminals. It is the same argument as murders etc being blamed on violent mainstream films, video game, people watching WWE etc-total bs, used by defence lawyers & various lobby groups to try to downplay guilt & push their agenda/morals onto everybody else. It is very hard to define 'extreme' porn as well due to different peoples view & a poorly defined legal definition. We must not also forget a lot of 'extreme porn' is women dominating men & women dominating other women & consumed by women in large numbers.

The reality is these people will do these things regardless-people did not have access to Hollywood Films, video games, pornography etc until fairly recently in history & yet since the beginning of time things like this, the rape & murder of children etc has been happening. 99 out of 100 people will consume all of these things & see it as escapism & fantasy & they will never try to recreate it in real life, the other 1 will know full well it isn't real as well, but do this stuff & then blame it at trial.

What's app group is disgusting but not surprising. What's annoying is that the papers reporting this with such outrage are the same ones that complain when certain comedians that ply racist, homophobic, misogynistic vile material are cancelled by venues

Maybe once he got a bit a further out of London he gagged her. Maybe tied her legs together with the velcro straps that were found.

Does anyone with knowledge of London if they area he was driving that night is known for sex workers who walk the streets?
He circled around Kensington, Earls Court, Battersea Bridge.
Maybe his original plan was too abduct a sec worker but none were out so he spotted Sarah, maybe thought she was a teenager.

Yes- judge says Velcro likely used for restraint, she already was handcuffed so Velcro maybe ankles. The picture doesn’t look that big a piece though - Velcro can only be used in position can’t get hands on to open it though

I think possibility he took photos/video , possibly just for his own use , inspired by the porn he was into.

I haven't lived in those areas, but from what I know absolutely not. Kensington (mostly, aside from West Kensington) is a REALLY nice area with many posh people living there and expensive houses. I've been in Battersea/Clapham a bunch of times later at night around that time and never seen anything like that either.
