That seems like an odd place to lose CCTV of Tapi. There are so many businesses in the area I would have expected high CCTV coverage.

Google maps says it's about a 6 minute walk to the marina district and about a ten minute walk to the river. I hope he's safe somewhere, but it seemed the first thing to check.

Parents search the streets for missing 21-year-old son

Parents of a missing 21-year-old are searching the streets for their son who was last seen a week ago.

Tapiwa Matuwi, known as Tapi, was last seen by his friends in Fiction nightclub , in Little Wind Street, Swansea at around 2am on Thursday, February 7.

    SNIP

His family and friends were handing out posters at Castle Gardens on Wednesday and trawling the streets speaking to businesses and members of the public as they search for him.

"He would usually go out and stay over his friend's house for days after, that's what he always does. On Sunday night we texted him to see if he could be home at 9am on Monday to look after his sister.

"We didn't hear from him and on Monday he didn't come home.

I don't like that it's now been seven days. I hope they're checking CCTV of all businesses in the area.

So if Tapi was on Whatsapp at 4.50am and then he's sighted in the castle gardens at 5am, he must have had his phone with him. Maybe they can check the last ping site for the phone and see if it's in the same general location of the castle?

Sigh, young adults (15-30) should be chipped. Only the police could have access in emergencies.
    Be safe Tapi
