A poodle was saved by a pair of experienced cavers who happened upon her during an expedition 500 feet (152m) below ground. Abby, 13, was so frail she could not wag her tail or even whimper

I was reading about this.
She was so lucky to be found. How she was able to survive is amazing.
So lucky there was some water in the cave but wouldn't she still have to eat something.
Maybe lizards, insects etc.
It looks like she wouldn't have lasted much longer

poor thing and she was 14 years old, I am overjoyed that the owner was happy to have her back so she wasn´t just thrown away due to her age.....

With the many horrid cases we hear about, I agree, such stories are wonderful.
We need more of them
