Not buying this as a reason to kidnap a 5 year old and (probably) sexual assault them, then murder them with a knife or concrete block.

This is about power, not sex

LE hasn't yet disclosed what was in the pipe that was found on him, I don't believe. And we are not going to find out his toxicology results until the trial, if we ever do.

Could be heroin, or could be meth, or both.

Well, after seeing these photos I doubt he was very drunk at all. He had enough snap to find a very good hiding spot...IN THE DARK.

The daylight photos of that weird little alley are horribly creepy. Even living in a place that seems as nice and safe as Logan, I couldn't live with that in my back yard

Three dogs didn't find her? Wow, wonder if they were cadaver dogs?

Or neither. I think he would have done this with or without the use of drugs. The alcohol may have helped him lose his inhibitions, but the urge was there to begin with. Imo

AW would have known of this site, as he walked through here, a short distance, to bury Lizzie.
Definitely premeditated, even to placing Lizzie.
The evil creep will not last long, I hope.
    MOO.

Since he communicated with his sister that night via fb messenger, LE likely requested the account be taken down and preserved?

IMO, it usually is about power. We could definitely pull up a chair, pour a drink, and debate for a while about it's complexity though.

Good point. There is moral judgement everyone likes to make. Then there is the tightly defined criminal judgement to be made against specific criminal code.

Insanity and mental illness have formal definitions as well. I see a lot of people dismissing them as potential realities, saying he’s just evil. That’s very subjective and emotional. In the eyes of the law, there may be extenuating circumstances or mental issues that may play a role.

Some say it’s a cop-out or fake, but we have laws to protect us and our freedom. Morals and/or religious beliefs and/or popular opinion do not necessarily equal the legal system.

Or, it was just an impulsive behavior. No real thought process. "I want to stab something". Or whatever his random weird thought process was...every one of these weirdos has some sort of "reason" that makes sense to them at the time.

I have been cautiously checking the interwebs for updates on this precious child and the only thing I'm grateful for is that she has been found. As a sister of a decades long meth head and a mother the rest is the stuff of nightmares. I have logged many Nar-Anon meetings and this outcome was one if I ever considered put it beyond dead last. I believe I read this *** mentioned his dysfunctional childhood. Addiction is the easy way out. There are plenty of judges in recovery. This is just awful. It's the worst of the worst. No mother and sister should have ever had this on her radar.

Notice how he is blaming his sister and DW for inviting him over and giving him alcoholic beverages, and then for getting amorous

So why was he wearing a suit at 22:00 that night when he went over to the house?
